no blood puddle ??? that depends what filming you saw !! british was a bad angle and censored
it is clear it was huge injury observe at 1.27 !!
he had massive head injuries there is no escaping the fact here !!
also it is on gravel so it was also soaked up more
i’d say without a doubt he was dead before help arrived!!
No arguments!
I’ve seen that red patch on the UK version, but I thought it was a coat from a Marshall.
Ayrton was alive after impact, his head is moving in the cockpit. His private Dr was at the scene, I’m sure he would have bleated if there was a cover up. Especially against the Italians.

Got issues with a few things here: –
senna did not die with a broken kneck !! the wheel impact is correct but it caused 3 large head traumas from suspension parts pennetrating his helmet/visor
( all were capable of killing on thier own but together it was a definate !! )My mistake here I think. The official report says 3 traumas but I don’t recall seeing the visor cracked or holed, you never see the RH side of his helmet in the crash clips. And I don’t recall seeing a blood puddle after they moved him to the chopper. 3 head injuries would cause a lot. But, if the official version was Bull, a Nurse or Dr would have grassed by now.
some controversey surrounds his medical treatment and law he recieved an emergency tracheottomy whilst waiting to be airlifted
it is said he was dead with no hope at the scene but the law of the country states if someone is killed at a sporting event the event has to be fully closed down
so it is believed he was kept technicaly alive till removed from the event !!Well, if there is Brain activity, there is life and hope. I think they fought to save him as “First do no harm”, not because of the possibility of the event stopping. Technically alive is saveable with the correct gear.
tyre pressure was ruled out as a cause as he had already done one lap at race speed.
Ruled out only because he set a fast lap before. Everybody said they noticed a lot of touch-down. But he was furious with teh pace car (It was only a Merc. after all) and asked for them to speed up to keep the tyres hot.
the cut and welded steering columb could have had a part to play as it is recconed it partialy collapsed
But it didn’t, the opinion that it had broken was made by people who know nothing, Journalists or somesuch. From the in car camera, they decided that because they can see a lateral and vertical movement of the wheel (Instead of just a Radial movement like a road car) that it had broken at the welded extension. But (a) it hadn’t and (b) Watch any clip from an in car camera on F1, the steering wheel has about 1cm to 1.5cm of Lat and vert. movement, to allow it to bend by design- makes it easier to use when driver under high G.
take from it what damon said ” i was in the same car and watched from behind on the lap before , senna was doing what he was famous for
he pushed his car just past the limmits once too often !! “he said ” put simply senna did the unthinkable for him , he simply made a mistake !!” ( hed done a few others during his career )
another factor comes into it that he was very unhappy with a poor performing car ( the reason the steering columb was cut and welded ) but it was a catalogue of errors rather that one dirrect thing to point a finger at !!
This is why some people blamed Williams and Patrick Head. The steering column was extended to make it more comfy for Ayrton.
They blamed Patrick head a long time after the event, so that he couldn’t be prosecuted.
Damon also stated that his tyres were still cold

Expensive, but one budgets to suit.
Stunningly beautiful, air so fresh that it cuts.
Clean, classy. Respectful people. No litter.
Good beer (OK it’s Lager but we can’t have it all), superb food and of course Chocolate…….sometimes stupidly expensive!!!! And I mean £10 EACH. Yes, I did say ten quid each. I’d want it melted onto Kylie Minogue for that.
That’s the adults happily sorted.
For the kids? Not much at all.
No matter how much you tell the kids all the above, it’s not on their agenda for a holiday.
Personally, I pick (Try to (1)) my holidays for my kids, I’ll relax with their laughter and happiness.
(1). Last year, Northern France. BAD idea. Whilst I loved seeing the V2 factories, War museums etc. the nipper didn’t. And the agricultural backwardness of the whole area made it a dull place for the kids.
The drive to Disneyland didn’t improve matters, the two rides he wanted to go on were broken. Then it rained.
Up the Eifel was a good day though.
