I eat my words and Humble pie.

Her indoors came home with a Waitrose bag.
“2 x four pints of Milk for £2, and a Meal for 2 including Wine for a tenner”.

    I’ll get me coat.

I know what you’re saying but it is still very sad driving in every day past an ever dwindling car park, knowing that in a few weeks it will be closed completely. It wasn’t that long ago that it was difficult to find anywhere to park on the northside; now you’re lucky to see a car at all.

The same factory that built nearly 4000 Lancasters in 4 years will soon be forgotten about

All down to short-termism and shareholder dividends. 😡

    Assembled! Woodford Assembled!!!
Chadderton and Metro Vicks “Built” them LoL.
Lick-o-paint and put the seats in and you call it building!
Only Jokin, but you know the in-joke.

What are you doing in a few weeks then? VR and dole or VR and a job to go to?
    What’s your trade?

A5462 took part in the London to Brighton last year. That’s how I found that one quick.

But I know that Humber and Oldmobiles liked the pass. in a “Tipper” mode LoL.
I was going to plumb on something French at first, but no…..I’m going with Humber.

    The Reg. A5462, is…..
    1899 De Dion Bouton tricycle.

    But clearly, it isn’t.

Humber had a passion for having the passenger up front, but I think it could be an Oldsmobile also.

C’mon Arthur, if you’ve worked there that long you know that Woodford has had its cards marked for years!
When I left in 1994 it was already named as a closure. They had already calculated that the WHOLE of future BAe production could fit on Warton / Samlesbury. Voila, they are nearly there, the basads. The failure of the ATP was the last straw, then 9-11 killed the 146 RJ. Nimrod 4 was only a rescue package after they pulled it our of the cowboys on the South Coast. They have longed wanted to sell that land off as greenbelt development – that means another Golf course or footballers houses. But councils are bent and if the right cash comes along, they will put a Toys R Us and a housing estate on it.

If the battery has run completely flat and still won’t charge after trying a hard reset all you need to do is contact TomTom support via their website.
The same thing happened to my Tomtom & once they had registered it as a return to base repair they sent out all the necessary packaging to return it safely & they repaired it and returned it to me free of charge.

    I reckon it’s battery.
After a full mains charge (24 hours solid), it loses 25% overnight WITHOUT being switched on!
Present owner can mend it, the battery is glued to the PCB I believe.
