It’s somewhere on here, couldn’t find it.
I think it went like this….
It was an alleged conversation between Control Tower and a Hercules?
Tower….”XyZ123, you are on hold behind a B-52 with an Engine out”
Herc “OH NO, not the dreaded 7 ENGINED approach!!)

Your mission is, therefore, still accomplished.
And everybody’s happy. 🙂
ps…. “Council Estate”? You must know more than the local council do! This might be of interest.
My humour, it’s just what that area needs, a large Pikey Chav estate smack in the middle of it. This could also come from a Barrats estate of course.
Knowing the Brown Envelope dealings of Councils, they would try it too. But, the folk around that area are the makers, not the shakers. The Blue Apron will ensure that the land will be kept as Green as possible.

Perhaps his eyes are watering too much for him to read the screen? 😎
I have a life. I got up to watch the F1. Bit boring that was!
Went to bed and then got up to have a day out with family…..that OK?
And, Lincoln7, I’m surprised an auld git like you needs to ask!
Didn’y your Mum use Stubbs Ammonia?
Ammonia. As already stated, a dilute of 50:1 will remove stains and kill ALL germs, not the 99% claimed by Domestos.
It degreases car parts, again a dilute (100:1) in a spray. Not whilst on the engine.
Removes all marks and germs from your laminate floor. Again, a dilute in warm watter of 100:1.
But, my main use for it is to clean the cooker parts. Remove all the parts of the cooker which need a clean (Including the glass – with those baked-on brown bits). Grills, metal filters from the hood, side plates (After the grills are out). Also add the Baking dishes which have the brown baked on stuff on.
Place all in a sturdy bin bag. The Gardening ones are best.
Place an old tea towl or large rag in the bottom of the bag. Soak this rag in ammonia, half a bottle. (125ml). Add a liberal sprinkling onto the items.
Seal up the bag with a knot.
Check after an hour that it is sealed – you will smell it if there is a leak.
Leave for at least 24 hours. Lets the fumes do the work.
Open AT ARMS LENGTH, and let the fumes go.
Remove items, wash in ordinary washing up liquid – no scrubbing required. The Sponge and the nylon brush will do.
The grills will come up showroom Chrome (Unless you’ve damaged it by previous scouring). The glass is actually the hardest to clean, may have to get your fingernails on some of the marks.
DO NOT BREATH THIS STUFF IN FOR LONGER THAN A WHIFF! It is a very powerful chemical and I think it is one of the heavy materials which doesn’t leave the body – like bleach.
There you go, edumicated!

Thanks for your answer.
So, how many Embraer platforms/ marques does that Vert Fin fit?
IIRC the DC8’s fin went smaller as the aeroplane body went longer. It needs less leverage due to the distance from the turning moment.
Didn’t want it as an advert, I wanted to draw attention to the fact that all the Bench kit / Lab. kit and more is up for Auction from the Woodford site.

I’ve been surprised for the past decade or so that ammonia is still available over the Counter. Hence my stocking up, 6 bottles should last me two years.

Ok, thanks all for your replies…

PD:
Yes, its a recent thing, I’ve only had my laptop for just over a week. The guy I bought it from is a friend of mine who manages a small computer retail shop on the High St of the town I live in, and so I told him which model I wanted and he ordered it in and set it all up for me. It had IE7 on it initially, but in order to put IE9 on, I had to take that off.
I’d love to show you a “Print Screen” image, I tried to get one before I even posted this thread, but for some unknown reason it won’t paste it as an image into Paint, or any other software for that matter, so I can’t show it to you!
As for your “wasted space on each side of the forum” issue, I might be able to help you as that sounds like a similar issue that I encountered before the Flash Player issue (I seem to attract problems…!:D).
I would suggest that you check the viewing settings on your browser. As I’ve said before, I use IE9, so it maybe different for different browsers, but if you go to the Main Bar (the one with File, Edit, etc.), click on the “View” one and then scroll down to where is says “Zoom”, and check what % you are viewing the page at…if its anything less than 100%, then that might explain why you have so much wasted space either side, because your viewing the page in a smaller size than normal.Linc7:
No, I have not made any enquiries just yet, but will do on Monday when my friend opens his shop up. Just thought I’d put a post up on here to see if anyone could offer any sort of assistance in the meantime.;)
Grey:
I am using Norton’s AntiVirus, the laptop came with a 12mth subscription to it for free, and my friend installed it and set it all up for me.
Indeed, I am running Windows 7.
If it is the Windows System Protection, how do I go about changing it?
Nah, my whole World is Widescreen, apart from this Forum.
As for Norton, AVG free is probably better than a purchased Norton. It fights like Cat n Dog with the Widows Firewall and puts the PC back several years in terms of Speed.

Aye, I’m still with XP pro until Win7 or Vista “Settles”. And, I thought IE9 was still in beta.
