Seen worse cracks than that!
The two that spring to mind are the Brit and Belfast at Cosford which have some serious strapping to compensate.

Likewise I have given up on trying to get the Sea Hawk over this year (not the one already listed as attending before anyone panics!!!) as have been unable to sort something to tow with, but will be there socially for the weekend with the North West contingent 😀 Also saved up my pennies in anticipation of the aeroboot – did very nicely out of it last year 🙂

Well can say it is a Dan Air Avro/HS748 but suspect you already know that! 🙂

Better late than never!
To be honest it wasnt what I was expecting, BUT that said it also doesnt come as a total shock.
I thought it would have been red as the cheatline is the same as when it was with Shell, however it would appear it was repainted blue with the detailing retained.

What time does it start?
Not 100% sure yet but normally around 10/11am. Give folks a chance to arrive and get set up etc.
Jon
You only had to ask AM 😀
19th July this year. A bit later this year so as to try and get the weather (he says looking at the window at it p***ing down…..), also that weekend doesnt clash wth other local events. If you need any more info let me know.
Hmm…wonder if we could attract enough interest for an aerojumble……..?

I’ve been thinking about the first panel AM, could it be Hastings?
Good call! Just dug out the snaps I took of the Hastings at Newark during Cockpitfest last year and certainly looks like it to me. Also explains all the holes around the lower edge as there is another panel that attaches to it.
