the Su-27 carries more BVR air to air missiles and will fight at longer range more time
While that might be true and useful against an F-15 or F-16; it’s definitely not the case against the F-22 and is probably not true for the JSF. Myopically thinking the Su-27 having more missiles might be an advantage; however more realistically, more missiles means more weight, a larger RCS, a larger infrared signature, higher drag; that will make you a big easy lumbering target. It also means that not only will you lose your aircraft but you will lose more missiles.
The alleged advantage of having more missiles, can turn out to be a disadvantage when fighting against stealth. You can’t shoot down what you can’t detect, track or lock onto; so all them extra missiles would likely go to waste and actually end up being a disadvantage against an opponent like the F-22.
Sigh, original poster has not only removed the videos but also had his account closed. He had videos of similar briefings on J-10, J-11, Predator and reapor. So according to you flanker fanatics attacked J-10. J-11 and predator videos too?
I meant the individual that posted the video is linked in the start of this thread. That individual removed the videos himself and his account is still active. I don’t know if this video was posted before, it probably was, but I only have your word that it was. I don’t know for a fact that it was, so that’s not the context that I meant, though you are probably correct.
The individual that posted the original linked videos removed the videos; thanks to the harassment of flanker fanatics (flamers, trolls, haters) and possible security concerns.

Ok where are the moderators? This post contains nothing of any relevence to the discussion. Reported for off topic trash talking.
It seems that there is a different standard for different people and different subjects and different sides of the issues. There seems to be a politically correct mob mentality standard. It seems okay to slander people that aren’t here to defend themselves. It seems okay to troll, slander and lie as long as you’re sneaky and or politically correct about it. It seems that there are some pets and sometimes even moderators that don’t have to obey the rules.
It seems okay to slander, troll, flame, use confabulation, etc…. as long as it is politically correct and or part of the mob mentality. It seems okay to slander someone by calling them names in a politically correct or mob mentality; however to call someone a name that honestly and accurately describes them is considered name-calling and a violation; particularly if it is politically incorrect and goes against the mob mentality.
Apparently it’s okay to call Bush a liar and claim there wasn’t any WMD’s; however to point out that anyone that claims this is a liar and to give facts and documentation that support those claims is politically incorrect.
I think name-calling that is unfounded or uncivilized should be a violation. However using the typical insane message board politically correct logic; it would be okay for Hitler to go around and say hateful slanderous things about the Jews; but it would be a violation to call Hitler a racist/fascist/Nazi/anti-Semite.
I think it’s okay to call a spade a spade. But I think it’s wrong to call someone a spade that isn’t.
I feel calling someone a racist that is a racist is civilized. I feel that slandering someone that isn’t a racist by calling them a racist is uncivilized. I don’t think all name-calling is in proper or uncivilized. I think it’s much like the difference between justified killing and murder. However there are those that want to stereotype all killings as murder.
I think it’s ridiculous that some people are warned for telling the truth (Being civilized direct and honest); yet others are allowed to flame and troll and ramble off topic without any consequences.
Starr did have a few good questions and points; however he is definitely a troll and flamer
I’m not sure I would call it an antiwar movie though it definitely does have some antiwar sentiments.

I think what is exactly a pro-war movie and antiwar movie is subject to opinion.
Many feel that pulling troops out and siding with fascists or becoming fascist is a way to fight war. I feel that that is counterproductive. I think pretty much everyone is against war, is to some of us would rather fight a small one to prevent a big one.
There are some mental midgets that even claim there is no such thing as fighting for peace. Evidently they haven’t heard of World War I or II. Evidently they haven’t heard of fighting fire with fire. Sometimes that’s the only way to have peace. No major peace came without war. The relative peace we have now is because so many sacrificed so much for peace; lets not squander it. Freedom/peace is not free.

I’m not one who usually would bring up OpSec, but what he says about F-22 sustained turn rate …
Well, now the cat is out.No, he said it could turn at 28 deg/sec. He didn’t say that was the max. 😉
I think you both have excellent points for consideration.
Su-30 still turns much better than F-15, but now to lose Su-30 pilot should be just somewhat noobish and make mistake.
I somewhat disagree. I feel that you are taking his words out of context and overstating it.
I think basically it says that the SU-30 is slightly better than the F-15 or F-16; but vastly inferior to the F-22,
The video debunks the claims that flanker fanatics make that airshow maneuvers (cobra like) will win combat. The exercise shows that the reason that supposedly inferior aircraft were able to club the SU-30s like baby seals is because they were trying to use airshow maneuvers in combat that made them slow easy kills. (okay I was being a little melodramatic also on that last line);)
Superb post, especially considering it‘s your first.
Thank you very much.

Obama shows his disrespect for the Constitution, our founding fathers and Americans with his anti-American anti-constitutional racist sentiments.
Obama tries to appeal to people’s laziness, greed, and frustrations by trying to portray it as the governments responsibility to provide jobs. Obama much like Hitler wants to appeal and encourage this attitude; Hitler delivered such things as slave labor camps, restrictions on what jobs ethnic groups could hold. Let’s not go down the same path by siding for a fascist like Obama.
The government’s responsibility is not to provide jobs: it is to get out of the way and allow the jobs to grow (in other words capitalism).
Part of the reason that good jobs are leaving the United States in droves is to avoid the excessive taxation and regulation by the government. Why should businesses stay here when you have fascist liberals like Obama that want to raise taxes on hard workers and successful workers and businesses: when the businesses could move to other countries that have lower taxes, lower pollution standards, lower safety standards, lower workplace standards, etc…? Obama is encouraging the sucking sound of jobs leaving the US to increase. Perot was right.
The main reason for the Constitution is to limit the power in scope of the government and to protect the people‘s rights. The Constitution was made to prevent the oppression of people and businesses with excessive regulation and taxation. Obama promises change much like Hitler did. Obama wants more oppressive regulations and taxation.

To further add to that Frank, I would also like to say ownership of firearms is a right guaranteed to us by the Constitution, that pesky little piece of paper no one seems to read anymore. (I mean Americans, there’s no need for anyone else to understand it, unless you care to move here 🙂 )
Now I know this will come across as strange to most people, even to a lot in the US. But the Constitution (by that I mean the Constitution and the Bill of Rights) was written and designed to protect the life, liberty and pursuit of happiness of the people from a Government gone bad. Actually, it was designed so the Government couldn’t do anything to impede on ones life, but since no one reads it anymore there have been many, many encroachments.
The fact of the matter is, the founding fathers who wrote the Constitution did not trust any form of Government and wanted to limit its powers as much as they could. The 2nd amendment is written into the Bill of Rights specifically, as are the other 9, to guarantee these rights. And as anyone who has studied history knows, an armed populace is a lot harder to make subservient than an unarmed one, and that was the whole point of the 2nd amendment. It wasn’t written so we crazy rednecks can go shootin at tin cans or blow away some rounds, but in order to protect our own personal liberty.
I think the U.S. Constitution allows the right to bear arms for many reasons.
1: For defense of self or others. (law enforcement is often unavailable, indifferent, inept, overwhelmed, under funded and under trained, slow to respond and sometimes corrupt: so individuals should have the right to bear arms) . It also is a deterrent against criminals.
2: An armed public is a deterrent for foreign nations to militarily take and occupy the United States. (I think the UN is incrementally and very insidiously trying to attack and revoke the US right to bear arms, to undermine our Constitution and country and establish a much stronger world government ( a “new world order“)
3: A well armed public; is a deterrent for fascist leadership or an unjust coup attempt. I think if Congress didn’t think the public was armed, that they would be more tyrannical.
4: If the US government was to get too far out of line, (and if all reasonable peaceful methods have been exhausted or deemed unappropriate) private gun ownership gives the public the ability to rebel with significant force on a more level playing field.
5: For hunting: to provide food, clothing, and other raw materials and for money such as bounty, tourism for guided hunts, etc…
6: For sportsmanship. Such as marksmanship, competition shooting, ect… ( I feel that this is also covered in the “declaration of independence” under the “pursuit of happiness” )
——
The founding fathers made many statements that indicated that they supported the individual’s right to bear arms and that was their intention in the Constitution and many of the other documents they wrote up. (Some of these quotes may possibly be falsely attributed to him, but seem to fit his style and reflect my opinion)
Thomas Jefferson
When the government fears the people, there is liberty; When the people fear the government, there is tyranny
Thomas Jefferson
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

Obama plans to bankrupt coal fired power plants and technology.
Isn’t there enough of an energy shortage and economic crisis? Isn’t energy expensive enough?
I find Obama’s and other fascist liberals mentality to be quite paranoid, hateful and delusional. Though there does seem to be some from both sides.
So it’s okay to promote biodiesel which produces greenhouse gases, but the coal industry/infrastructure which is already in place and can produce power cheaper is being attacked.
The fascist liberals already made us more dependent on coal because they made it impossible to get new nuclear power plant licenses. Now they want to eliminate coal. How about finding a cheaper cleaner technology before attacking our industry, our economy and our energy needs?
What next are we supposed to stop breathing until they can genetically alter man to emit less greenhouse gases? If so I suggest liberals/Democrats/fascist lead by example.
So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can…. it’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted

The carbon tax will be to go to invest into things like biodiesel that would be more expensive and still produce carbon emissions and increase alleged global warming.
Are there any sane liberals left? Are they all sheeple? The ignorant fascist mob mentality is ridiculous. I suspect grocery stores have a shortage of Kool-Aid and aluminum foil for liberals. 😉
The campaign sent a statement today saying “the point Obama is making is that we need a transition from coal burning power plants built with old technology to plants built with advanced technologies.”

Obama is poised win and Democrats are poised to win a super majority jeopardizing the checks and balances. I fear for the fate of America and the world. I suspect there will be much rejoicing when Obama is elected, things might become more unstable there might be some short-term upswing, but I feel the long-term fate of our country is spiraling downward.
