unusual to see proper big jets at EDI, what was the occasion?

The 346 was bringing in a band from Venezuela to play a concert in the Stirling area

Hi Peter,
How difficult is it to get to any of the spots around Schiphol without a car? When I was there before, I only went on the Panorama Terrace, but I am thinking of coming back for a few days next summer. Thanks, Drew.

I notice that the Air France ATR aircraft looks rather mucky on the side of the fuselage, is this a result of the exhaust fumes that come out of the back of the engine; if you compare it to the Aer Lingus one, there isnt that much dirt…or could it just be that the Irish just choose to keep their planes cleaner than the French!?:D

I think it’s maybe that the Aer Lingus ones have only been painted in that scheme recently 🙂

Thanks for your kind comments, guys. Here are six more from that weekend. The Air Canada one is from a pretty bleak Sunday, and the rest are from the Saturday.
I’m going out to try and win a poker game tonight, not much chance of that though :p

Good shots, Allan, and welcome to the forum. You’re right too, you’ll see a huge difference with a bigger lens which I’m sure you’ll get in due course. The less of the picture you have to take away with the crop, the more quality you’ll retain.
