There is no update as there is no news, which is not a good sign. The ELT did not work automatically, but it is capable of manual activation, this did not happen, so you could deduce that the pilot was incapable of activating it. The pilot was wearing the Breitling watch which can be used as a search locater, this again would need manual activation by the pilot, it has not been done. The searchers are also using a thermal imaging aircraft, so far without results. Whovever said “no news is good news” didn’t know what they were talking about.:(

Interesting that it has the U.S. reg. on the tail and the French reg. under the wings! A very impressive airport website for Gloucestershire Airport.:)
