    £128 MILLION?? That’s crazy money! 😮

Agreed, why not tap him up for £1,000,000 for XH558? Wouldn’t miss it and it would be a tax write off!:D

Finally spotted an Eurocopter today, F-GXPE.

Just found the lone U.K. entry, Robbie Allan from Scotland on a bike, number 129, GO Scotland!

The oldest entry would seem to be a 2CV, highly modified.

    UPDATE

As this link is not now functioning, it gave details of the crew that would be flying the plane. On the negative side, there are still rumours that the plane is not certified to fly and in fact has not yet flown a test flight.

It obviously isnt going to solve the problem of did Ollie have it or not but I recieved a disposable camera a couple of weeks ago that I will never use. use.

I can start the ball rolling again if we all so desire.

    There’s a sensible suggestion!

Anyway, this must all be before my time, what was the plan?

And another suggestion, ban Ollie until he produces the camera or replaces it!:D

I think the same report suggested the debris was supposed to be 14,000 ft on the sea bed.

Condolances to the families of the lost.

Debris is now reported to be at 6500 feet below and the US ship should be able to report on its identity about 3.00 p.m. GMT.

Great find, hats off to Bob, oh, where was his hat? Shame about the quality of the eleven minute film but still very interesting as Bob is the consumate show pilot. Saw him at Oshkosh and have the Twin Commander video. I always thought the Commander was a great looking light plane, only surpassed by the Comanche.
I would raise the question though that as the plane is not authorised for aerobatics and presumably there are design considerations which would preclude it being approved, why would the company then go and demonstrate it aerobatically?

    Plane found?

Reports today from CNN are that the Indonesian Navy may have found the plane in the sea. They are waiting for the arrival of a U.S. ship on Tuesday with special underwater equipment to positively identify the contact.

Our missing bag finally arrived back in Scarborough last night.

From not showing up on the baggage trace on 24th December, to being found in LHR terminal four on 27th December, to having a flight from BRU-LHR on 30th December and finally from LHR-MAN on 1st January, that damned bag has had more BA flights in the past few days than we have.

You were lucky! CNN yesterday showed the corridor yesterday at LHR with hundreds of lost bags awaiting their owners. If you are one of them, this link is where you might get reunited!

De-registered with no recorded owner according to G-INFO, but you probably know that anyway which is why you are asking!
