ATA still operate a few tristars a i think but i do belve there used all most allways on trooping troops home from Iraq and Afganistan.

ATA operate a fleet of twenty nine aircraft mainly 737’s and 757’s. The four Tristars are used only for military contracts.

Understand they have a sizeable fleet?

Gold Air operate six Learjet 45’s and one Hawker 800. The company was recently bought by Air Partner International.

Glad to see you making up for lost time in your postings lately, your emoticons have been conspicuously absent! ๐Ÿ˜€ Some clue of the identity of the nude plane might be of help in your quest.

To save you all the trouble of having to look at those distracting photos, the plane didn’t sell at $80,200 but over 40,000 people were interested in looking at it or the decorations, way to advertise! ๐Ÿ˜€

    Hi all

That heroic 22 minutes allowed a large part of the convoy to escape, so if you are having a drink tonight how about a toast, silent or otherwise to the memory of โ€œHMS JERVIS BAYโ€ and her gallant crew!

    โ€œHereโ€™s To The Heroโ€™sโ€

Thanks for the reminder! My father was in that convoy, so I drink to their memory. ๐Ÿ™‚

    Drawings?

Aah so! Considering the remains shown in the photo, this would appear to be a new build jobbie, so why not start a production line like the 262?

Yes, it is way too expensive. The owner may negotiate if it fails to sell a second time.

Well, no bids this time so lets hope some ‘behind the scenes’ dealing does take place. I reminded Solent Sky of this opportunity, but haven’t heard anything further. ๐Ÿ™

Flypast, (remember our sponsor!) are now reporting that the majority view is that it is 42-72181 Sunny Vlll that crashed 5/29/45. As they state and from the picture supplied by Bruce, this will indeed be an ambitious restoration. Where does the rest of the plane come from?

Now all we need is “Angels One-Five” on DVD and life is complete…..for now!
    Anyone know if it’s available?

If this is the one, no, it is not available. ๐Ÿ™
