I noted during a recent visit that there two Beagle 206s still extant, albeit appearing to be in poor condition (and abandoned?), in the south-east corner of Madrid Barajas Airport.

Perhaps someone could rescue these?

‘Lissett?’, ‘Lissett?’, must admit I had never heard of it, has it always had this name? Seems an important WW.2 airfield would have had more resonance in my memory, what aircraft were based there? :confused:

a.net forums report that she is leaving this Sunday to begin the world (ish) tour, arriving down under on the 16th. does anyone have any more?

Is it realistic to anticpate it leaving on Sunday when engine tests haven’t been completed (have they, not yet reported?) for this apron Queen. Other reports say the 15th is a more likely prospect.
