    Hi a1exhall,

Disappointing in some respects if the B.170 is now for open sale on Ebay

Going to keep an eye on this, they didn’t want my bid of $2.

It would be really great to see a Viscount flying today wouldn’t it! 😀

As Bristols had a factory at Weston super Mare it would not be unreasonable to expect them to have built components, although the main purpose at that time would have been the helicopter development.

Thanks, that’s the answer I was looking for! I knew I had seen a connection with Weston and the Britannia.

Sorry, bad cut and paste! 🙁 F-AZID is a Mitchell, now HB-RDE and totally irrelevant to your question. 🙂

Hope to head up that way at the end of the week [yeah – I have seen the weather] for a bimble around and wanted to take some history to read…

That would be a BMI flight then? Is bimble what you do when you fly BMI?

Didn’t realise that ag aviation came this far down the UK so wondered if anyone had some details of the extent it was used in the SW?

Farmair Aviation operated Super Cubs from Southampton (Eastleigh) airport about 1960 for a couple of years.

The Cat is still at Beauvais, has damage due to heavy wind. A spare engine is ready in Israel, but this has nothing to do with F-AZID [as far as I know, but I’m never too old to learn…]

This was the information over a year ago, unless anyone knows better?

    Hi Luisdo,
As an obvious insider to all things Cuban, are you familiar with Orestes Lorenzo, a Mig. pilot?

    Sorry, really great photos!
