He will be out within 18 months for good behaviour and time spent in remand……
His lawyer say they are going to appeal.

But if the Yanks get their way and he gets deported as requested he could be going away for a lot longer and meeting someone called BUBBA.

Deffo still alive and a viable aircraft, presently in Gostomel on maintenance but can be ready for commercial use in a couple of days.

The second airframe is still in mothballs and thete are are no future plans at the moment to revive it.

Curlyboy just a quickie the fuselage is actually larger than a standard 124 in that it had 2 fuselage plugs put in to extend the length to accomodate larger payloads ie rocket boosters but now used for longer cargos or more bulkier cargos upto 250,000kgs.

Some I took whilst with her at EMA

Its so true Wessex Boy, at The Air Traffic Control training base at RAF Shawbury the Officers were given far more chances than the Corporals /acting SGt when trying to pass the segments of controller training.

I think Wessex Boy was commenting on his Basic Rotary Wing Loadmaster Training course and not the ATC shool which also shares the same Station facilities, mind you when I went through in 1975 there seemed to be no favoritism between Officer and SNCO’s…..
