Great! Welcome to the air transport business!

Ok, I tried going through anonymizer and guess what, it worked. Then I opened up a different browser and tried going straight there and guess what, DID NOT work. This is very interesting and have no idea why I am being denied access.
Then I suggest you contact Lufthansa and ask what’s going on. Go to this page via Anonymizer and send your complaint. Might take a long time before you get a reply, I don’t know, but at least you’ve let them know about it…

Internet explorer. I even tried going through UA’s website then clicking on the LH link and it doesn’t work. Perhaps my IP address has been blackballed. 😮
That’s strange… try going there through an IP scrambler like http://www.anonymizer.com and see if it works.

http://www.lufthansa.com has been down for like a week now, considerably before this offer that they have going on. I’ve been trying to download their new timetable which expired on 26th of march, so it’s been down since then at least.
I’ve visited Lufthansa.com every day for over a week and it’s been fast and free of any problems until today when their whole site seemed to break down. But you’re from the US, right? I don’t know but it might be that the Lufthansa USA site is on another server and that might have been down.

It is actually true, Lufty will celebrate their 50th anniversary by recreating their very first post-war flight from Hamburg to Munich via Düsseldorf and Frankfurt today.
At 6:43 on the morning of 1 April 1955, the very first Lufthansa flight took off from Hamburg.
Here are some better quality photos of the A321:
