Apparently kids playgrounds are going to be altered, to make them more risky.
The powers at be have decided this needs to be done, because kids are getting their risk kicks playing on railway lines etc. Looks like a glimmer of common sense is blowing in the wind. Just proves my point dosn’t it, health and safety 😀 😀 😀

Well since my last post on this thread, I am pleased to report I have caught 6 baby Rats, and 1 medium size Rat. Animal lovers will be pleased that I use traps that don’t kill them. I then relocate the Rats . 😀 😀

A lost cause..

politicians are the root cause of most of our problems – there has never been a cut back on them, about time we started.

Problem is without politicians, who would run the country. This world is a complete mess, always was and always will be. You have to admit we have seen the best of it over the last 40 years, and now we will see the worst of it. I have given up worrying about it now, there is no easy answer to the worlds ills. Only a drastic fall in the worlds population, will restore sanity. New generations come along, who fall into the old traps, and we once again go around the killing merry go round. Time will tell if mankind is worthy of a future, I personally have my doubts. This has been my sum up of 50 years experience of life.

Into the valley of death rode……. 😡

Keyed in yes, but i think you will find that GW , his cohorts and their bull in a china ( no pun intended! ) shop mentality when it comes to diplomacy has been the cause of a fair bit of the escalation .

NK are and have been sitting there waiting for GW to come calling…hardly any wonder they are looking at the ultimate deterrence.

Well when GW comes calling, all hell will break loose. So I guess NK Nukes wont protect them, or anyone else for that matter. I hope it wont happen, but as I have said before, Nukes don’t make you any safer. Your’e better off not having them at all.

Wont that breach their human rights, to go about their business feeling they have some protection? Sad fact is folks, GB is going down hill rapidly, and there isn’t much you can do about it. These comments are rather tame ,compared with what I would really like to say.

Another day another farce

In the last 12 months we have had,

Pear tree’s being fenced up

A council banning home made cakes and the frying of eggs at outdoor events

Conckers being removed from trees (at a high cost to taxpayers)

Police banned from working if there are no pavements

and so on, now I’m all for anything that can make “high risk” jobs more safe and nobody wants to see people hurt when it can be prevented but do the above mentioned things really cause that many injurys.

Maybe these silly local council’s could try getting drugs and weapons under control if they really want to make the world a better place.

I think you missed another 2006 classic. Police Dogs to be muzzled to protect criminals from injury. Oh dear oh dear, I cant believe this is happening , but it is. The aforementioned, is enough to make you want to be put in a mental institution, to escape from all this lunacy. I really am getting worried about this country. How long will it be before Prisons will be closed down, regarded is degrading to their inhabitants, and criminals kept at home to do their porridge. When that happens, it really will be time to get out of looney Britain.
So now we see Political correctness in action these last few weeks. If anything will destroy this country of ours , it will be that. Am I an outspoken person? YES. Why? because This is a country I have lived in all my life, and I can see it’s gradual decline. It isn’t a pleasant experience I can assure you. It’s really surprising how few people have commented on this thread, seems no one really cares any more, and that is very sad.
