No the English are not a race. No NATIONALITY is a RACE Roscoria, being Danish is NOT a race just like being Japanese is NOT a race.
There are ethnic diversities in all races, there are different ethnic groups in Pakistan as there are in China and Brazil and there are “conflicts” between these groups so it is not purely a colour thing. Without sounding like I know what the hell I’m talking about, there are “differences of opinion” within some races based on how dark peoples skin complexions are despite being classed as the same race and being the same nationality.

Multiculturism ?

The word Racism is an oxymoron. Races exist whether or not you subscribe to the concept. Im very offended by anyone who says they are not racist. This world is divided by national borders mostly because of race and there are (always) internal divisions within borders of multicultural nations. I know so many people who think they are not racist because have dark skinned friends or have dark skinned people at their work, and they think because they treat them equally to their white skinned friends that they are not part of racism. The fact is they dont have to be racist because society does the dividing for them. Its not an accident that you can drive through a city like Los Angelos and go through neighborhoods that are all black and neighborhoods that are (mostly) all white. Do you know why the plight of black people in the US is so bad? Because they are trying to fight something that you cant stop, which is racism. Instead of standing up for their rights as far as getting a fair share of economic opportunity, black people become resentful and seperate themselves into their own culture. In the end they become more racist than the racism that caused their work problems in the first place. So the cause of racism goes both ways. There are so many ethnic groups from poor nations that want to continually live on the fringe, a sort of gipsy mentality that they can squeeze by with what little that they can come by instead of really taking part in the nation they belong to. Whether they are subsistance farmers from the country they come from or washing windshields at stoplights in citys they go to. Racism is not a one sided problem, it has to dealt with by both the immigrants and the host countrys.

Ok but there may be another reason why Blacks and Whites live seperately. It may be because they feel more comfortable in their own ethnic group for now anyway. The English are not a race as such, because they are made up from different races that invaded Britain. It will take some time before all the different ethnic groups start to inter marry, but it will happen. Because with each new generation, barriers seperating racial groups willl begin to crumble.

Yes maybe we cant tar all the media with the same brush but Have to agree with the Grey one 😀 you have to take most of the stuff in the papers or for that matter on a lot of the Tv channels with a large pinch of salt..use them for the basics of the story and disregard the rest!!!!

Ok then well I don’t watch TV so can’t comment on it, and yes stories in newspapers are not perfectly correct, but at least they challenge the official view of things. There are things Governments don’t tell us, which remain secret, and we elect them to run the country. There is also information fed to the public which is designed to give a false representation of things, it’s the ‘everything is rosy in the garden’ attitude. In reality of course it’s quite the reverse. Anyhow bad news travels fast for all to see, and it can be embarrassing to Governments, who like to propagate the view that things are under control. Incidentally I listen to phone in programmes on the radio, and these can be very revealing. 🙂

Racial overtones.

U know Comet I have to say fair play for bringing up the the links that you did, it really gets me when the BBC and organsiation such as the police shy away from linking racism to the murders of white people but every time a non-white person is murdered or attacked they scream racism at the top of their voices so well done mate!!!
And to add to what Comet said, racism exists in ALL countries, ALL cultures and ALL religions!!! There is no such thing as a racist free culture, nationality, religion, creed whatever…it’s just human nature.
I have to wonder how much attention the media would have given the story Joey brought up if it was a Russian who was murdered in India???…don’t take that the wrong way Joey I’m not trying to suggest anything about racism in India (except as I said it does exist as it does EVERYWHERE) but you have to understand it gets frustrating that racism against white people is rarely covered for one reason or another, at least it isn’t here in the UK.

Considering we are all supposed to be decendents of a Lady in Africa, that makes us cousins. Therefore we are cousins fighting cousins. The differences between us are purely superficial, skin colour, language, facial features etc etc. But that’s enough to create a sense of division between us. I think that many years from now the racial skin tone in general will be Tan and Black, White skin will be very uncommon. Then we will be back where we started from. Visual impressions of one another will always be important, and people of the same racial group will always feel more comfortable together, than with a different group. It’s difficult to change centurys of thinking in a few generations. 🙂

The media in the UK certainly stick to the agenda of their masters, but they’re not political – at least not in the party political sense.

Instead of blindly accepting the things the papers and the other news media tell you as fact, ask yourselves these questions:

Where do these stories come from?
Who starts them?
What is their agenda?
What is the cost of publishing and broadcasting these stories?
Who pays it, and what do they think their money is buying?

Are you saying there is no truth in media stories which come from reputable sources?
Surely some of these stories are true, or is it all make believe. Can we ignore what we read and assume everything is perfect. Fortunately we have the media to inform us that not everything in Britain is rosy under labour. What about the crime that dosn’t get reported. It is a fact that gun and knife crime are out of control. Drug taking is on the increase, nothing is being done to stop it. A third of cars are driven by people who don’t have Tax, insurance or a License. That’s just some of the problems, it can’t be all made up surely!!

Well that was probably where it all started, but surely things have gone to far now. Human rights law protects minorities from the majority. Great if you need protection from wrong doing. Over the top Health and safety which has to be followed by the indigenous population, while foreign workers ignore it. Political correctness gone stark raving bonkers, what a joke. Ah but in another newspaper, I read that Police have been instructed not to chase criminals, in case the criminals get injured. In which case they will probably claim compensation for their injuries. Yes this is Labours Britain 2006, we are the laughing stock of the world. Why don’t we make life easier for criminals, by letting them do what they want, ahhhhhh we are nearly there, give it a few more years. Carry on Britain. 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
