Problem is, it’s a nice little money earner, and the opposition might do the same, sooner or later. This is a governments dream coming true, BIG BROTHER is watching you. No petition will stop this from happening, it’s coming, and no one can stop it.
It will be interesting to see, if this new technology catches, car tax and Insurance dodgers. As well as keeping an eye on illegal migrant drivers.

Oh well some stupid clowns now want to give out vouchers to drug addicts who are on treatment programes etc.
This just does my head in ok the vouchers may only be for about £10 per week but when I work my bloody guts out every week I would like to see an extra £10 per week in my bank, not being given out to people who are doing sod all every day.

Why oh why does anyone have jobs these days, because if you do they tax and tax you like mad. Yet people who dont or wont work or take drugs or get sent to prison have people doing all they can to make life nice for them, its a disgrace 🙁

Total insult to all who work

To be quite honest, that £10 is better spent on drug addicts, than on oneself. I think we are a very selfish society, we need to start thinking about helping others less fortunate than ourselves. That’s where our present government score well, by helping the less well off with our money. There are a lot of people that drop out of the mainstream of things, simply because they can’t keep up with the fast pace of change. These tend to be the slow learners at school, who eventually give up on education. These are the people that turn to drugs and crime, it’s the only way they can survive.
Put simply, why not have a cheaper holiday in this country, than going abroad. Then you will have plenty of money, to give to the less well off in our society.:rolleyes:

Which one is, do you think, the ultimate road movie?

Mine is ‘Vanishing Point’.

Vanishing point, now that was quite a movie. What I like about American road movies, are the locations.
How about ” ITS A MAD MAD MAD MAD WORLD ”, this was a classic road movie, with all the highway atmosphere to boot. Why do I give this film the ultimate road movie . Simply because it’s a lesson in human nature, I can’t think of another road movie like this one. You see it all, greed, stupidity, cunningness, humor, and adventure. Spencer Tracy is superb, as the bent cop, after some buried treasure, and the rest of the road crew are equally as good.
If you like a film that’s pure escapism, this is the one to watch, it made me feel as if I were actually there with them.
One very last important point, all the characters in this film, are perfect stereotypes of real people.

It just shows what sort of government we have, when they are willing to let this happen. They should send in the army to cordon off the area, and if need be, arrest those that refuse to leave the area. I can think of more extreme measures, that would be very effective.:diablo: :diablo:

This is plain and simple theft of other people’s property, and seeing these scavengers (not “beachcombers”) makes me ashamed to hold a British passport.
I hope they are prosecuted.

This is pure and simple looting, the worst side of human nature. Most people just can’t resist the temptation of getting something for nothing. We have seen it all before on TV , with youths running riot, and stealing goods from shops. Nothing changes, still the same old human characteristics, that are lurking under our so called civilized society.

BBC London news just had a report say that a SAS Team normally based in Hereford will have a base in London, They say ment to be a 16 strong team, Obviously they do not say where be based.
I personally think is a good thing if they offer extra protection to the Capital and will also give the police good support in area’s the Police not so strong in, But it also is quiet scary to think they are nessesary, Sign of the times i guess.

Perhaps the government should think about stationing Apachie gunships at RAF Northolt, as well as a few Tornado’s. Seems the capital may be a major target for terrorists.

When my daughter was born a year ago, I unplugged myself from The Matrix (TV), and I must say that it has been the finest decision I’ve ever made. I now realise that we have a finite lifespan on this earth and I quite frankly will not waste it on dross…..

Same here willhelm, gave up watching the dross years ago. There are much more interesting things to occupy oneself with, such as posting on forums. Using ones mind, instead of watching TV is far better for you, than spending countless hours in front of the box.

You could go back as far as the vikings to say that foreign criminal gangs operate in this country.I cannot believe the bleating from miss goody ,the promise of help and counseling dose not patch up what millions of vewers saw.Once a racist bully always a racist bully.The sooner she descends into her pit the better ,and its all going to happen again on the eviction of the other two harpies.

Thinking back to the time when big brother was first shown on TV many years ago, it was an interesting show to watch, and quite enjoyable. But it seems fairly obvious now, that it is not a patch on what it once was. All it does now, is to pander to the worst side of human nature, and exploit the participants. Perhaps we should bring back the collosiums and Gladiators for TV, this might appeal to those that watch big brother.
