    Cat.
    They know how to relax.
They’re cute and cuddly but have sharp edges.

How easily we seem to have cast aside our aviation heritage, such beutiful and elegant flying machines.

And-the last British ww2 aircraft carrier. Despite the best efforts of a group trying to get it preserved back in the u.k., it now lies in a scrapyard in India, being unceremoniously chopped up.

Sorry to hear of your experience Philo.
I hate wasps. Nasty little bleeders. I turn into a big girlie and run away when they come anywhere near me.

Any Spitfie is a legend in my book, and the Grace Spitfire more than most, on account of its history.

The Shackleton (Pelican16 – 1716) that crashed is still there, well some of it!
About three years ago some of the crew re-visited it and found that it had been stripped from the cockpit rearwards.
During Gatwick Aviation Musems open weekend recently we were delighted to meet a couple of guys working on the Mk3 (XF708) at Duxford. It seems that they took it upon themselves to start cleaning the inside etc. They have had some support from the management and have got the de-humidifiers going. We obviously offered our support in their efforts, lets hope others do also!

Great that someone’s doing something to give this bedraggled veteran a bit of TLC. Well done those guys!
