please accept my apologys, i hope i didnt upset enyone…..i will be more careful in future. nothings gone right today. im having one of those days… 🙂
what name will they give to the dog now..if they cant call it nigger why dont they call it ethnic minority, that wouldent offend enybody…
so the BBMF are going to let the film makers convert there aircraft to carry the bouncing bomb !!!!!!!!. the original ones had some of there gun turrets removed as well, did they not….should be a good film though…
yes it was 1987…i was quite young then. i can remember a F-16 [from holland i think] doing a very noisey display. i am pretty sure XH558 displayed too..
i have got to ask the question..why was the sea vixen scrapped!!!!. from what i can remember she looked in good nick…what a waste 🙁 ..eny one know why she was in hereford..
sorry i mean TECHNICIAN 😮 😮 😮
enyway back to the subject..the bristol beaufort should get a mention as well, they done sterling work protecting our coasts. the boulton paul defiant was pretty effective as a night fighter too. if only they put some guns in the wing as well. i would have loved to see them poor me-109 pilots faces 😮 attacking the defiant from the rear thinking it was a hurricane, mind you they wasnt fooled for long…… 🙂
i have never seen a picture of a A-5 vigi dropping ordinance from that strange bomb bay design they had. can enyone tell me why they cancelled the bomber version and only made recce versions. seems hell of a waste of a good design. and why did they retire them early… 🙂
i have also heard that the soviets used some of the arrows technology when designing there mig-25s. i wonder how they got there hands on that !!!!!!!. canada did produce a century fighter though [of sorts]. 🙂
i wish i had a telescope like that one..very very nice pictures…got eny pics of andromada. i see cassini is doing fantasic work all the way out there with saturn.

i have always liked the bounder, it just looks so impressive. i think if the soviets had a decent enough engine for it, it would have enterd production. but apparently it was so underpowered it could hardly get off the ground. what a shame…..another great soviet aircraft that never was, the tu-85 barge…
wouldent it be fantastic to see a javelin flying again…to all you multi millionaires out there thats a hint by the way….. 😀
thank you denis. there is nothing wrong HEREFORDSHIRE schools, its just some pupils are TOO busy looking out of the window, watching the aircraft flying over !!!!!!!!!. i may be crap at spelling. but i am **** hot with a spanner. to all them pen pushers out there, A SPANNER IS A TOOL MECHANICS AND TECHNITIONS USE. 😉
Kind of reminds me of a famous British design….
do you mean that world beating, fantastic [never should have been cancelled] top draw bit of kit called the TSR-2. i see what you mean there…..
i always wonder what name the TSR-2 would have been given if that useless, short sighted, waste of space goverment had not sodding cancelled it…. 😡
i am a fanatic on all aircraft…..but a huge fanatic on British and soviet aircraft…in my veiw the greatest aircraft ever made came from these nations….. 😉
