pre-bloody-cisely … is it only you, me and the late Steve Young who comprehend this?
Well said Pete. We (Kiwis ~ flightless birds) can only look at these threads etc. and wonder at the marvel that is the UK warbird scene. My brother has just retuned from a month in the UK (June) absolutely raving about Duxford (the museums and general setup, not Legends which he missed). I am so looking forward to travelling there myself one of these years, hopefully experiencing the Legends Lather, and raising a glass at the Red Lion to friends past and present.
Hi
Many thanks for the links, the head on view shows the window excellently.
Cheers
Jerry
Huh … that triangular fuselage cross-section looks very HS129’ish. And what on earth happened to the props in that photo (or are we seeing wide-angle lens distortion)?
What was/were the FW187’s role/s?
Bugger! What a tragedy for his family. No disrespect Julie but I feel most for Haydn who must be in a terrible place right now. That’s what really gets me as I don’t know Steve at all (posting here aside) but I have young children. It’s scant support right now I know, but in due course Haydn you can and will read all these messages of support in this community and be proud.

But that’s because I’m not entirely normal… :diablo:
In fact now tragically deceased 🙁

Oh my God what a tragedy. RIP Steve and my sincere condolences to all your loved ones. Don
Very nice Moggy. I understand the mulberry was made up of a lot of floating concrete things (technical term that). Were they then sunk and (therefore) sat on the ocean floor (presumably moved into place during high tide), or were they moored and remained floating whilst in use? And IIRC wasn’t there a big storm that caused some damage?
I’m just not getting through to you guys am I? Steve Young excepted.
This is not a serious discussion about how to decapitate a BODY – I’m thinking we have a sort of Zaphod Beeblebrox problem on our hands.

Gee, I don’t know about that. Sky television is a brand, certainly in NZ and I thought also in thr UK? But anyway, it’s really all about “people speak” isn’t it? We know what they mean, but don’t really care how it’s said. The head was of course a disembodied head, not a decapitated head.

Thank you Steve and I share your concern
