    Guess I’d better contribute.

    Mildenhall…

From a print I bought some years ago. Apart from spotting RR299 the Mosquito in the background (I presume) I’ve no idea where or when. Anyone?

Coningsby, looks like tatershall castle in the background.

My point is that both you and foxy are putting your own gloss on what happened and I STILL cannot see what political gain there would have been – or, for that matter, what ’embarrassment’ – in a future government restarting the programme. Explain that one to me satisfactorily and I’ll accept the idea.

If you read Peter Wrights Spycatcher pages 361 to 372 and MI5’s thoughts on Harold Wilson and a few other Labour ministers at that time, and the penetration by the KGB of the labour party in the 60s it all makes perfect sense, was Wilson carrying out orders from Moscow, a lot of people in MI5 thought so, plus Louis mountbatten R. Bl**dy N. going over to Oz and telling them
that for every TSR2 they buy they could get 5 Buccaneers:mad:

    Hi.
Polarizing filters are best used at righ angles to the sun for dark blue skys
if you use them with the sun in front or back of you there is not much
    effect.
    Phil.

Legends 06, just a polarizer not PS.

This is what happens if your not at right angles to the sun, the upper right hand side of the pic is Polarized the left side is not.

It most certainly was there in 1961. It didn’t land but flew in daily from White Waltham, then returned and in RAF markings. Unfortunately, it did not appear on the public days, but here it is during the week.

So that why it’s not on the list for 61 😀
