Stunning. Although it was nice to see a Spitfire in a non RAF scheme I could never get my head around the Irish colours.
This however looks stunning. Well done to all involved and thanks for sharing pics again Darren. 🙂
I didn’t like the Spit in the colours of a bad cold, looks much better now.
phil.
It’s obviously a joke, you would never get the lot in to a small barn:rolleyes:
That’s not damage, that’s patina! 😉
Seriously though, if you live in a rural area, go and try your local saddler or horsey shop. They have all sorts of leather conditioning products a lot cheaper than classic car stuff!
yes i do know someone with a couple of horses, will give her a ring. but does anybody know who makes this jacket as there is no name tag in it.
Thanks Phil.
Well I can’t claim to be expert on Woodford’s weather before the 1990s, but having looked back at many photos from the old events and hearing anecdotes I think it’s fair to say Woodford’s weather was largely mixed down the years to the 1990s. There were some excellent years, some poor years -but I think most were somewhere in between.
Wet wins about 5-1 against I think.:D
We had a massive pay rise and, at the same time, the Nott cuts, a businessman with no knowledge of the armed forces and no desire to learn.
Wrong:rolleyes:
Before going to university, Nott served as a Lieutenant in the 2nd Gurkha Rifles during the Malayan emergency, (1952-56).
Here’s a few from Blackpool, some people will have seen these on here before, the first one is of my late Father, his first time in a Lanc since 1945.:) Regards Phil.

Certainly Squires Gate , I used to be a volunteer air cadet showing people around NX611 at the time. On the final flight some of the exhaust stubs fell off during a low pass over a Welsh reservoir.
Definitly Squires gate, had a walk inside it when it was there.:)
Regards Phil.
[QUOTE=Creaking Door;1092169]Didn’t look like a Victor to me…seemed a bit close to the ground.
Not a Vulcan…unless it’s pregnant! :D[/QUOTE
