βͺ#βpleaseβ¬ share – This is my uncle Mark Reeves who we sadly lost in the shoreham aircrash. We are hoping that someone may have caught him in a photo before the crash whilst he was enjoying the planes he loved so much. Mark had ridden his motorcycle to the A27 and we believe he had parked up at the spot shown below. The police are still investigating but in the meantime if such a photo exists it would bring great comfort to our family especially his wife. If you could share and anybody that may be able to help can contact me directly. Thank you all x
We were at the show Saturday, I was taking pics at the very right hand end of the spectators line, A guy came down to us and asked me if I had any pics of the crash when I told him I had pics of the Hunter going below the tree line I thought he was from the show organisers I showed him them, he wanted to down load them to his lap top which I refused it turned out he was from a publishing firm. :grr: a tragic day for the people that lost their lives and the families and friends, if the price we as spectators have to pay is just flat displays by vintage fast jets then it would be worth it if it can stop something like this happening again.
The Hunter was a fighter/trainer.
How was it “designed to be flown”?
Moggy
Just what I was going to say, saved me the trouble.
“Does anyone from this revered forum recall any other manufacturer that can emulate or beat that feat in years of production of any product?”
That was the question and there have been a range of direct answers. JB referred to another aircraft manufacturer as well as listing a whole range of other products. If the OP had intended the question to cover ONLY aviation related products he might have mentioned it. This is after all a General Discussion thread, not restricted to aviation matters. I am not aware that any of us was trying to be amusing and as for your fatuous assumption about the knowledge of the posters, it is barely worthy of a response.
Your reply is typical, and don’t try and tell me you weren’t try to be funny because that’s your usual response to something when you and others have no knowledge of a subject, it’s all about opinions with you lot, this be should be renamed the Lincoln, Hunt and Green opinions page LOL π

Someone comes on here and asks a perfectly valid question and gets one sensible answer (J Boyle) and the usual suspects turn it in to a joke for the simple reason that they don’t have a clue about the subject and wont spend time even trying to find out, then again it does keep the post count ticking over π

Just been watching BBC news and a woman tosser called Benedict Paviot has just referred to the aircraft as a 1950s Harrier, why are we paying licence fees to this excuse of a company.
I find it Distasteful that someone can slag a pilot off after the events of the last 24hours.
