    Hi Bruggen

Where were the bunker shots taken – Buchan?

I could be wrong but i think the Varsity was still in service when the RAF first got the VC10 in 1966.

    [QUOTE

I’m about to start a nostalgic series of shots of historic aircraft taken with a recently acquired Box Brownie/127 film and the 6×9 Pinhole/120 film. Maybe I’ll post the results (prob next year) and incur the waves of criticism I deserve![/QUOTE]

It seems to me that everybody is comparing Digital cameras with the worst film format there is ie 35mm, i would like to see the difference in quality (if any) between the same 20×16 photo shot on digital, 35mm, 6×6, 6×7, quarter plate, half plate and whole plate, it would be interesting to see.
Has anybody on here done any large format work.? 🙂

nice photos, especially the one of the Spitfire banking away.

I saw you all (bbmf crews) in the pilots tent and was going to come and find who puts these photos on here but I had to go off to do other things.

Some pics which i think are from Finningley around that time, i still have the programmes for 1974-1975, but they don’t list the static
