Picture No.9 – What is / was this? Looks like twin engined B-17.
I think it’s a Douglas B23 Dragon.

Hi.
Don’t usually get in to these discussions, so lets face it it’s not hard to design a square
building with a glass front and a big side door so aircraft can be moved in
and out quite easily, But no, it has to be some arty farty thing made with
new materials so these over paid Architects can justify there over the top
prices. As far as the fire hazard is concerned if they put more of the budget
in to a full Sprinkler system fire would not be that much of a problem,
because not many buildings with Sprinklers are totally destroyed in a fire.
All i want to see is the aircraft under cover, i personally don’t give a toss
what the building looks like. 😀
In the end though post images on the net and it really is fair game….
I know what you mean, I put some pics up on here a bit back, and sombody on here used one to make a point in a thread

Yes 121 years old, kept very well don’t you think, god knows what computors
will be like in 2126. I cant see CD disc lasting that long can you? but i might be wrong, and using old hard ware is fine till it needs repairing, not knocking
dig for pic quality just the longevity of the finished article. 🙂
