Santa
He flies at night without instrumentation.
He doesn’t file a flight plan.
His Reindeer drop unlawful objects when they need a poop!
He flies at rooftop level over large towns and cities.
He infringes controlled airspace to deliver his stuff.
He is overweight and no doubt doesn’t have an aviation medical cert.
He operates an unregistered, uncertified flying machine.
He operates in IMC without TCAS or transponder. And on a non-flying level he breaks into houses after dark…
I say, ban him. 🙂
Because there’s a CLAUSE on his pilots licence that allows him to do this type
of flying.
Merry Christmas

The Dambusters blog suggests 16 May for the Derwent dam, but says earlier suggestions about other reservoirs (Uppingham and Abberton?) are not confirmed.
Don’t you mean Eyebrook reservoir, that was used a lot for training?

Pity it’s not an Avenger:D
Hi Ian
If anyone else has photos (or video!) of these 2 running and could share with me please let me know. I have only seen a couple of other shots from JDK anywhere on the net.
Cheers

If you cannot understand the suggestions, I seriously doubt your ability to read and understand simple English. And I rather think the Clive Dunn exchanges prove my point..
You are incapable of understanding the differance between A character actor
and an Actor who played the same character ( the late Bill Tarmey is a good eg) for Most of his/her career, It’s like p!ssing into the wind trying to educate
you.
Standing by for more gobbledegook:D

Poppy
Yes. Once. At the Battle of Britain memorial on the embankment. But i wasn’t crying for anyone on there. I was crying for someone who’d sponsored one name and who was never to see it. I placed a poppy there for him and from him.
I have had a poppy on here and there since getting one with my second donation (the first I just put in my loose change but didn’t feel it was enough so declined a poppy). Mostly I’ve not been wearing it; it just hasn’t quite fitted in with my week. It’ll be worn on Sunday when I take my time out to go somewhere.
Perhaps the reason there are less sellers in town are because there are less volunteers. Phone up the local person in charge and get your name down for next year. I did it a couple of times in the past and got a box in at work (and pointed it out to all my customers, very successful collection that). I mentioned it to a mate and he was amazed he’d not thought about it. he collected quite a lot too. Do it and spread the word.
The same thing happend to me on a trip to London a couple of years ago,
we just walked up to Westminster Abbey and were confronted by the sight
of thousands of Poppys on the the greens, when I stopped crying I took this.

dunn
Sorry I think you are. Clive Dunn finessed an old man as a particular character which he played. Corporal Jones fitted that character. You do not speak of actors playing “genres”. It doesn’t mean anything in that context. I notice you have not referred to the other points I made in my response.
Thats because you are just talking b*llocks:D Jones was the character dunn played, not the other way round, sorry have to leave it there as I don’t boil cabbages twice:D
