RE: Imagine if you actually had to pay for that airline food.

RE: Superstition in airlines
I had row 13 on a britannia flight from LGW – TLS and I had the other two seats in that row to myself, I would have to say it was a good number to have on this flight !!!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-12-02 AT 07:23 PM (GMT)]WSIWYG, lets make one thing clear, I am a snowboarder, never call me a skiier. I dont like skiiers very much and they dont like snowboarders either. So the feeling is mutual between people in this very safe sport !!!
RE: Air Marshalls on U.K Flights

RE: Ryanair Plane runs over fellow pilot!

RE: London City Airport
Got there around 1pm – had to meet friends off the Baku flight
London City Airport
I have to agree with dcfly, I was at LGW picking up someone on friday and I went to have a look as well, for some reason it was free to get in on Friday, but the views are disappering fast. Unlike place s like Amsterdam and Frankfurt. Stansted could do with a viewing area, havent been there in 2 years cause facilities are not brilliant.
BEST PLACE IN UK: LONDON CITY AIRPORT:
The only place that gives you any decent view is London City Airport. If you are wondering about the location. Tak the Docklands Light Railway to Royal Albert, make a left, and walk to the big River (thames) you cant miss it. NO facilities there but you can see entire airport and runway. Be warned flights on weekends are restricited. Best day is Friday PM and Monday AM.
RE: Britannia/Tui Flight information please
come on guys – I want answers !!!
RE: Blugh!!!!
I like it, at least one companys mad enough to have a crazy colour scheme

RE: Baggage overweight?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-11-02 AT 08:12 PM (GMT)]most airlines say you can only have Xkg of baggage but they know most passengers wont stick to it and they allow extra for each passenger. If you are flying on B.A. my folks told me (they just got back from GND) they were allowed 2 cases each weighing no more than 32kg, so that was 64kg * 2 ppl=128kg but I am not sure if that was a 747/777 and I am not sure what class they were flying either. it also depends when you are flying, during holidays, weight limits are enforced lightly off season, not as much, but on weekend longhaul they are heavily enforced and europe sun eve mon eve and frie eve departing uk they are moderate/strong enforced depending on airline and what ever incompitent idiot you have checking you in !!!
RE: Baggage overweight?
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 29-11-02 AT 04:18 PM (GMT)]as long as the units are sealed they will be fine in hand baggage only. of they are liquid batteries they will not be permitted on any flights at all. if any items have sharp points on them stick it in the hold baggage but make sure the battery powered unit is stored in hand luggage.
