Richard lake is the new owner, fuselage being repaired at airframe assemblies and wings being done by hfl duxford who will assemble the aircraft to fly

Welcome Supermarine1, are you connected with this aircraft in some way ?

You can only libel someone if it’s not true – it sounds like M12 has seen enough evidence to prove possession beyond reasonable doubt (the standard for civil law).

And I don’t know who it is either!

BTW, wasn’t someone jailed in the 90s for stealing RAF records from the (then) PRO?

I dont know either ! Has it any think to do with a dwarf !

    Hi,

Steve P thanks for clearing up the confusion I caused myself 🙂

Can anybody say or show how much of the original aircraft is left and will be used in the rebuild is it being kept under wraps for the time being.
Must say that the pictures of EE602 on VMI engineering website are very good, how long doe’s it take for a fuselage to be built?

    Regards

    Jay

Hi oldgit, on average we take about 12 months to put a fuselage together. This does depend on various factors though ! ie lenght of contract, money & available labour. Usually lenght of contract dictates the other two !!

David the £1.5k included the purchase price !! So about £1 mill for the rebuild. Probable worth ? What some one will pay !! Say £1.8. The more original parts the more you could add to the value !

    Steve.
