    Hi all, just watched this program & thought it was best Battle of Britain documentry shown over the last week. Execellent air to air footage, really enjoyed it. Jealous ? yes !! Who knows one day i’ll be in the right place at the right time !!

    RW 382 started out as low back IX but subsequently had a packard engine fitted.

    Hi , there was a similar program on channel 12 on freeview at 9o’clock last night. Prog was called fighting the blue. I think it’s a series of programs.

    Bit odd them saying he is the first “Spitfire Apprentice since the war blah blah…” We’ve had them at ARC at DX since 2000…:rolleyes:

    Yep and we’ve had them since 1992 at airframe assemblies !!

    It is marked in the diary for tonight. Looking forward to it – based around 303 Squadron at Northolt – one of the lesser known BoB stations.

    Hi all, just watched the this excellent program, makes my job all the more worth while listening to the old hero’s & having met Mr Billy Drake whilst doing some filming for a program a couple of years ago.
