They’ve also announced today a x5 weekly 777 service to Hyderabad in India.
MD-90 – singular, only ever one, HB-JIB (or “Hib-jib” as we knick-named it at EMA). But it did look good – it was a regular at EMA and last showed up on 2nd January – shame we won’t see it again in British Jet colours.
Yeah sorry what I meant by that is I prefer to see MD90’s in general, and got all excited and put an “‘s” at the end!
Shame, I like their MD-90’s, one of the smarter British orientated paint schemes!
Beautiful…………..and I don’t mean the planes, shame that man was there eh!:D
Brings back good memories of my September trip. When were these taken? I’m sure its a bit colder in Washington of late 😉
with easyjet it gives as sense of cheapyness because they havent exactly got the biggest planes have they
Sorry???
Easyjet will use the same aircraft that GB Airways use as bought in the deal. That means do you think that the A320 and A321 are small?
And just because its Orange, and there is no blue, red and white on the tail, doesn’t mean its cheap.
I regard easyjet as one of Europe’s most “classy” loco’s.
And you won’t see BA in other than London, as they have no interest in the rest of the UK. Period.
Bloody hell!
Never tried the airline….but Kingfisher Beer is gooood 😀
I’m not going to join the praise bandwagon…………………damn i just have!
No words needed from me Dan!!!

Shame. I really enjoyed the VLM product.
Well when no one was looking open the door and sit in the cockpit and cabin 😀 Yeah not much happens there your way you say you get RAF choppers training? I see in one of your pictures a welsh thing that people say about :diablo:
We get Hawks, Tornadoes, C130’s, F16’s, Eurofighter, Chinooks, Sea Kings and many more here every day, as were in the Mach loop
Hmm…you can tell that not much happens here eh James! The door was closed so I couldn’t have sat in the flightdeck sadly.
She departed from Blackpool earlier in the afternoon, and was on her way down south, just funny she headed in a NW direction when I saw her 1st!
Just to let you know she took off safely. Saw her leaving with the Eurocopter southbound as I entered the village.
On further enquiries, I found out her gearbox was in trouble too and that what caused the initial divert!
Excitement over 😮
Just got back, and they didnt say much!!
All they said was that there was a small engine fire, and that it should be ok after fitting a part, which they didnt say what. Should be gone when i’ll be back sadly! The Eurocopter has just left too.
Heres two shots of the view from my garden. Sorry not the best, 8X with a lot of glare!!

Cheers
As I was typing, Eurocopter AS-355N G-STON has arrived. I’m going to rush down and see whats happening!
