The guys over on PPrune also thought the same thing Paul, and from what I heard last night, she did have engine problems.

Cheers Mark! Totally didn’t expect it. I’d seen her fly over about 10 mins prior to when I saw here on approach. Looks like she was heading in the direction of RAF Valley or she was looking for a place to land, and she’d found our valley.

To be honest, I thought it was nothing as RAF choppers had been in the area all day on a training mission, and my guess was that it was something to do with that. Then it hit me that it was one of BI’s machines, and that it was decending! I had a superb view as the room where I am now, overlooks the valley, so thats how I saw her coming.

If I head to the bottom of the garden, I can see her, and at the moment, there is nobody with her. Sadly I have to go out about 1ish till about 3ish, so knowing my luck she’ll be gone by then. But I still want that flightdeck shot 😀

Massive Expansion at MAN? Thats not massive! 😮
They were just looking to steal EZY’s limelight, and to be honest, the EZY announcement interests me more than RYR’s!

I had a problem as well on my Air Berlin flights, which they did a detailed saftey brefing, but a very poor one in English – and this was on a Manchester-Stansted flight!! :dev2:

But Ryanair are known for emplyoing a multi-national crew and lingustics must be taught correctly, especially on ex-British flights.

This is incredible for November! I was supposed to be going to Derby today, but after waking up and seeing the pics on BBC News of Derby, I decided to give it a miss for today!

I flew with SWA 5 times last month, and I only encountered one flight where the crew weren’t jolly and having a laugh. The other 4 were superb, and made me want to fly them again and again!

    A great airline!

I saw it in Midway last month, a DFW bound DC9 shook the pier as it pulled its self back, whilst i’ve also encountered it, on a MD80 from Orlando bound for O’Hare back in 1997 😀
