Great news! Having been in a similar situation myself lately, I’ve been rootin’ for ya. And remember, just as this has now resolved itself, so will the other thing in time. Hang in there, mate.

I wouldn’t exactly say this made me smile, but I felt a certain satisfaction at seeing someone who tortures dumb animals for “entertainment” getting a taste of his own medicine-

Even though redundancy protection laws here are sh1te compared to some other countries there are still certain legal obligations to be met, and when we went through this recently anyone even remotely likely for the chop got a formal “At Risk” letter. I got one and survived, and even with 20% to go the odds must be on your side too. I know exactly what you’re going through mate, so fingers crossed for Monday.

Just to say thanks for the help folks, especially Cloud 9. Really don’t like the sound of Emirates Triple Sevens, and Qatar are looking good now. Cheers.

Went for our first scan at the ante-natal clinic today, and as we all looked at the screen our two year old son, apparently thinking it was just the telly, declared “Ohh, him again…”

it seems we are at a fork in the road of life, left or right… either way lets just crack on and no more dithering

As the great Yogi Bera once said, “When you come to a fork in the road, take it.”
