    maybe some H n (nanny state) S issues with your contacts wants, going by some threads at the moment….. personally I’m more worried about getting squashed by 1+ tonnes of metal on the way to any event tbh!

    from looking at my grt uncles ops, they had to bomb/sow the target to have it classed as counting towards their tour,on at least 3 occasions they had crossed into German territory by a considerable distance and had to turn back through mech/elec malfunctions.

    I wonder if the bloke selling the Dams parts would like me to dig his granny up n sell the clothes she was buried in? Surely if it is an actual part of Barlows Lanc then it is a war grave? :confused:

    Condenser, ammeter,DF gauge, do you have the oxy system bits? if not you’ll need an econimiser flowmeter oxy hose, saftey valve/oxy hose holder, you got all the plugs for the sets?

    I was told by the surviving member of my grt uncles crew (whom I havent been able to get hold of in yrs, so I dont know if he’s alive still, a certain woman did but wouldnt let me converse anymore) that someone on his sqn either looped one or rolled it……

    Very interesting that the lancs still there, would have thought the Germans would salvage it for recycling?
    Does anyone know why its not been recovered?
    Is it classed as a wargrave even though it says no bodies are in it?
    If the lads are still in the lake I would have thought the MOD recovery lot would have found them and given them an appropriate burial?
