sorry woops, yeah its all from preservedaxisaircraft.com, but either way the point of the question was to find out where the location of the aircraft is? sorry if i got everyone muddled up with bankrupt questions, (this is my first post). i really respect the OFMC, there one of the best aircraft collections in Europe + there aircraft have the best paint schemes. But i didnt mean any disrespect, and sorry if i did.

Nxt time i will also include where i got resources from also.

where is the plane today? i wonder what other aircraft the OFMC and TFC collection own. i know there is a Fw190 being restored in norfolk for a US owner, is the OFMC example in UK? if it is could it be restored, they could have excellent dogfights with there yaks, and spitfire and stuff.

meant to say kermit has alot more static aircraft, aircraft should be in the air where they were made to be. i respect kermit for being an aircraft collector but i wish he had all of his aircraft airworthy

yeah, i know it would be painful, i would love to see a Me109, espically in Black 6 desert colours(that colour scheme). i love the p38 also, but me109 would be a more relistic at the moe. But how many are there being restored in europe, i know flugwerk and craig charleston have a hand full? but back to me109s, is the RAC being restored to a ME109 or buchon standard?

Kermit weeks has taken alot of aircraft out of the Uk, which should be here. Like the Sunderland, mossie, lancaster, and soon the tempest. I just wish he and paul allen would have a European wing based in Britain. but yeah back to the subject of fw190s

It was the fact that they were going bankrupt+ After Mark Hanna sadly died. They sold off most of there aircraft except the Breitling Fighters.

    hi,

Im really diapointed that there isnt going to be a flying mossie in the UK. We dont have many of our own planes flying. i.e. Wellington, Halifax, Fulmar, Typhoon, Tempest V and a beaufort.

In this deal that the fighter collection have i think it should be something like a A-20 havoc, fw190 d-9,b-26, p-59. Or even a Beufort or another mossie? but not a spitfire or mustang.

i was shocked to here this news, i think we have lost so many planes to the states, i mean aircraft like the mossie and a sunderland should of been kept. But the good thing is that the Americans will restore and fly the aircraft. I hate good aircraft getting put into a museum (Kermit Weeks).

What i dont understand is why it wasnt sold to a British collector like OFMC,HAC,BBMF, and even the shuttleworth collection? Even just a Mosquito fan based company. (I would give a £5 to see it fly!)

Im not a 100% but there is a possibility of a Mossie flying because i renember that TA634 (of the Mosquito Aircraft Museum) was being surveyed for possible restoration to flying condition? But im not sure what is the fate of that aircraft. (they have enoth Static mossies, 1 should fly). Is there fb-4 TA122 just going to taxy? does any1 know any news of those aircraft? How rare is rare in aircraft ? Martin Baltamore rare?
