Thanks for that pic, Skythe… but you know that it’s dangerous spreading such pics around when i’m in the area, don’t you ๐Ÿ˜‰

Not sure yet if those F-16s will be offered on the international market. The Dutch are nominally waiting for the F-35 to replace their Lawndarts, but as told in the prophecies ๐Ÿ˜€ recent reports have shown that the JSF/F-35 program is on it’s way to become yet another time- and budget steamroller. Keeping additional airframes in storage for rotation with operational aircraft should be a good way to keep a decent number operational for a longer time.

Definately Luxemburg. On average, by far the most expensive aircraft fleet of any air force.

One more pilot who managed to spare his landing gear, bravo! You can see it has been cannibalised from this wreck again, so they can keep other F-16s on their feet.

The model picture Distiller posted above was taken when practising for this standard F-16 maneuver.

There is nothing wrong with crashing an F-16 and make it lay on it’s back. It makes perfect sense, since it saves quite a bit embarrasment. After all, it’s better to crash your F-16 than getting ridiculed for being a fatass whenever your Lawndart’s landing gear collapses when you get in.

    Good:

As for the ignore-list (sorry, it’s going to get a bit informative), if you have put someone on that list, it will make sure that the postings by that person are hidden for you. Instead of that post, you’ll see a message saying something like “This person is on your ignore list” It’s been a while since i used it, but IIRC there is a direct link to see the posting anyway, but entirely at your own risk.
