We think it might be just coincidence. I think I’m going to pinch some of the plastic visual indicators for the wheelnuts from work.

If the wheel had come off it could have been downright nasty.

Finding out that some pikey has tried to have the wheels off the tug.

The lockout switch has been bypassed as it was broken. I’ve been very careful not to leave the overdrive “in”, so I don’t think its that. T

here appears to be some gear oil on the bottom of the box, so that’s got to get investigated too. If the gearbox has to come out again, I’ll be swearing properly…

XP345 looks so smart! The paint and stencilling work is nothing short of awesome. If we canget the paint on WR963 looking half as smart as that I’d be a very happy bunny.

Dad ordered several items from the shop, so another visit will be imminent to collect them.

That’s what I figured. Multimeter says there’s power going down there, but no action from the solenoid… so I guess tomorrow I will be borrowing some ramp time from the fitters. Gives them something different to look at instead of Bedford four tonners and Land Rovers!

What’s made me swear? The £400 rebuilt overdrive on my car that decided it doesn’t work in the rain.

‘Laycock De Normanville’ sounds very French… I reckon its trying to stitch me up. One more mutiny and I swear I’m going to say to hell with originality and fit a 5 speed gearbox…

A bank holiday, a tank of petrol, and a Jag engine settling down to a nice warm idle…. time to go exploring the peaks again!
