I think second hand, early model F16s would be a good idea. They have the added advantage of a couple of good upgrades being available aswell.
F16ACE (Israel)
Falcon One (Singapore)
So Sferrin, saying I would rather have an F15E or an F22 over an F15C is drifting away from the question is it? or maybe you just cant read properly.
Sealords, point=I personally prefer the F15E over the C model (Obviously the K is the ultimate at the moment), I like the 2 seats, and I think in this age of constrained budgets and limited airframe numbers to be truly multirole (shoot it down if it flys, bomb it if it dosnt)
If anybody else can see how this is thread drift please let me know.
I think if the conflict was serious enough Rafale, Typhoon and Raptor could be fully upto standard within a matter of months if not weeks.
Most of the systems Star suggested Russia would quite happily sell as long as someone paid, I would have thought?
Kaveri will be ready within the next few years so there will be no need for F404.
Sferrin, you are the one who decided to pointlessly criticise my post, so get over it. My post was entirely in keeping with the thread and you appear to be doing nothing more than trying to pick a fight.
Oh I do apologise sferrin for not entirely sticking to a thread title that you didnt start.
I think the title leaves quite a bit of room for other aircraft to be mentioned, I would rather have an F/A22 or F15E over an F15C. So put your toys back in the pram, walk away and count to ten.
No, but I would take an F15E or an F22 raptor.
Is the Sokol, the MSFE/MFE?
predadtor?
There is no getting away from the fact that the JSF is going to be a phenominal aircraft in all arenas. I just cant wait to see how they develop it beyond the awesome plane that it is already.
oh, yes but there is still alot of potential to use.
It looks like the Su30 MKI is going to become a very capable aircraft.
Alot of the problem with the Typhoon is that it is not regarded as offensive enough.
Why is it ridiculous?
Flatpack will never be operational, the project is abandoned and replaced by the PakFa.
