    ..I really couldn’t say, LoL!

But all the obvious mischiefs of sex in the wrong location, explosions, fire, wrong identity etc.

Well, if your a fan of the pukka Star Trek, not the one with the bald bloke, then you will like this movie. It has a lot to live up to, being an introduction to the the great series. It does it very well, very well indeed. The big screen version must be fantastic.

2 nights ago at about 11pm, the ISS went whizzing over my home. Brightest I’ve ever seen it. When it got to about 20 degrees up from horizon, I quickly logged onto the “Current position of the ISS” and it was over Germany.

1.5 hours later (Sad I know) I used the same website and at the time the cross-hairs were near my place I went outside and sure enough it was where it should have been.

Very clever (Well, it’s relatively easy I suppose) mathematics to tie together Google Earth and the ISS Orbit plan.

    Good luck to you all.

IMHO the A’s were harder than both my degrees. I did the latter later in life so maybe my head was better adapted to what was actually needed for the exams.
Also, the degrees wanted more of a totally broad minded approach. He said this, she says that – but I think……
The ‘A’s didn’t seem to want any anecdotal comments or concluded opinions at all.

No scandals apart from rigged phone-in competitions, you mean.

But what’s a few million quid between friends?

Ah, yes. Forgot about that lot. I don’t watch the news apart from a monthly update now and then….did they actually gain from it?

As a young teenage spotter (1972ish) I had one, simply because I could see the finals of Ringway from my loft window…..but I couldn’t read the reggies. Often the reg would be called on air, but more likely the call sign and flight number, I would then tally which reg. it was from other spotters.
Oh, and the BBC 1 TV sound was on about 112FM IIRC.

Does anybody else appreciate the irony of a show called ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ being hosted by Ant & Dec? Couldn’t they actually find anybody with talent to host it?

    Moggy

It’s a take it or leave it situation. As a double act for simple telly, they are superb. No bad language, never any violence on their show, no scandals off set. General entertainment factor is quite high I would say. I don’t seek to watch them but credit where it’s due methinks.
“Talent” would be the likes of Bill Bailey, Stephen Fry, Paul Whitehouse and many more.
