I once remember being Introduced to some dodgy gangster types , the shaking of hands went into some routine which would have put a Mason to shame , it didn’t quite end in a high fives , all the same I felt a bit of a burke , and I’m not ashamed of saying It a bit out of my normal comfort zone .
It wasn’t the Quality street gang was it?
I was on the door of their regular place in Mancland.
Well, it was a flea pit in the 70’s and 80’s but it was a proper pub which also contained aeronutters. I went for a drink there in year 2005 and it was possibly worse. It was a collection of aeronutters surrounded by a pub.

I do apologise.
I just can’t bear anti-west opinions spouted, we only allow it because we are civilised, unlike the anti west countries and supporters.

Speaking of alcohol, will you be in the vicinity of the APH on Wednesday evening? 🙂
Does the APH have rooms for the night? I thought it was law that to be called an Hotel or Inn, one had to have rooms available.

On your point 1. If the traffic is slow moving, I stick it in 1st (When I had a manual) and crawl at tickover, this can leave a gap of up to 6 cars which closes then opens again without me doing any work. If it’s stationary, then the gap I leave to the car in front is the thickness of a shadow.
When a lane is closed and the cars have to filter – say left, we (Up North) used to keep slightly to the right, the car behind slightly more to the right etc. This eventually blocks that lane to prevent those queue jumpers. This doesn’t happen in the South. In fact, I moved over completely once, and maintained my queue position. When it came to my turn getting in, the guy that was behind me had closed the gap and wouldn’t let me in. Southern selfish idiot. Ah well, my £300 Ford could take all the scratches it wants, DILLIGAF. I just edged him out at 4mph without any due care and attention. He was furious, so I gestured to him with glee.
Later, he goot out of his car at lights. So did I, he quickly got back in and locked it LoL.

Here ya go:
Ta, didn’t look that bad.
Excellent!
We all lose too much of this sort of information to the competition and/or the enemy. This case just enforces the massive increase in getting IPR (Foreground and Background) written into contracts.
Thanks for the anwers team.
So, the SQ one did have a livery painted……I’ve never seen a piccy of that.
Did the BA ones ever get the BOAC livery, as per the first Airfix kits before 1st flight? (Oh how I wish I’d kept that).
I was around at the time but I can’t remember!!!!
?????
Mods.
I’m sure I posted to this thread on the 10th Feb. I’m sure it wasn’t offensive.
So where be it?
