I always ask if they have a moment… then hold an airhorn to the phone, they never phone again:diablo::diablo::diablo:

Don’t have an airhorn. I can shout louder LoL.

Had one tonight actually, it was a sales call but the 6 day old baby was in my arms. I just whispered, in a gentle tone “Please ****** off”.

The online Newspaper “Daily Mash” tells this story correctly.

They let the killers of James Bulger out with new identities and they can do it again, its a disgrace !

Angonnamo, they were 10 at the time of the crime.
Sick as it was/is, I’m not for punishing a 10 year old for the rest of life.

“as a courtesy” from my energy supplier, I was very polite, told her I was registered with the TP service, she was polite and apologised, I just mailed them AGAIN asking for a letter stating that they won’t call what with this being the second or third time…..

Well, that’s not exactly the kind of call I was meaning. I get the usual “Check up on existing customers to try and sell them more” calls. But, I have already chosen them as my supplier, so they are not Spam.
Cold calling on the phone is the real problem.

I’ve never seen Eastenders, and I wasn’t a fan of her pop career….but RIP to her.

I was more touched by Cameron’s son dying, as I have one the same age and a new baby last Saturday.

pete, i had to chuckle to myself about the famous HERSHEY BAR ,my old mate jack used to say to me “Nipper bl***y yanks, yer could hear em and smell em cumming for miles. With their big gobs, perfume and cigarettes and as for their bl***y lousy chocolate”:D
Not a man to mince his words our jack.

Agreed, it tastes like the cheapest Russian chocolate…..hardly a cocoa bean in it. (Their decent stuff is lush btw!)

Same as those dog biscuits, Orios. Kwiksave own brand stuff is better.

On a positive note, Texas jelly beans are a must (Like Texas “Not even the whole USA is bigger n Texas boy!”) these beans are massive!
And, Root beer. I love it.
And, steaks made from a real steer (Not the factory produced cows we have here). Big as a surfboard, cooked rare. “Pull the legs off and wipe its ar**”
    Mouthgasmic!
Lots of other US foodstuff is fantastic, but the Orio and Hershey…..no thanks.

Was there not something stupid like Walkers Smoky Bacon crisps were suitable for vegetarians but the Cheese and Onion ones weren’t?

Pete; I agree that there are definately better crisps out there. McCoys are tremendous – especially Flame Grilled Steak. And Kettle Chips are superb also.

    Agreed.
Pete Truman, you are so right. Smith crisps were better. Walkers have flooded the market with starch.
    Seabrooks are certainly my favourite.

Related subject……Another brand that has flooded the market with their cheap tosh is Maynards (Wine gums and such like). They are apallingly naff. Lions are the ones to have, but becoming harder to find each year.
