Shouldn’t that post be in the ‘What made you horny’ thread? :diablo:

No. That would be a double act with Cheryl AND Danni.
    Damn, cold shower required.

    Paul,
I feel a nybyism creeping in here.

What if you were collecting for (Say) a cancer trust and left the can in a shop and it was nicked.
Would you not feel this was a crime against you? I would.

And, the fact that somebody could stoop so low as to lift a poppy tin is enough to get wound up enough anyway. With such morals then surely in their head, anything goes. Disrespectful wastes of skin and air. Parents should be ashamed…but it was they that probably trained them.

Personal line drawing on opinions of crime always draws debate. For example: –
    (a) Pinching a £10 from the desk of a workmate vs
    (b) Keeping a £10 note that was spat out by a cash machine by mistake (As has actually happened).

I would never even consider (a) but I’m pretty sure I’d keep the £10 in (b). But theft is theft in the eyes of the law.

    Brit film or US?

Or, it wasn’t the comedy “What did you do in the War daddy” was it?

That was a shocking headline! Will be seeing the film on Saturday.

I’ve seen it. Don’t spend too much on Cinema tickets is my tip of the day.
    (Spoiler Space)

Corny and very unbelievable sub-plot, predictable and very unvelievable main plot and the ubiquitous hero having to die to save the planet (After he’s fought and beaten the villain with a remarkably loose electric cable of course)….with his last words of “Tell my wife and kids I love them”.
The SFX are OK, in as much as that is what I assume a nuclear explosion in Space looks like.

Failed by a big margin to boot;- it only made 70 % ultimate (i.e. 105% limit)

I think that margin of failure is without precedent in the last 40-50 years

I took one glance at a detailed photo of the wing-skin (Cover) construction with the very tiny Stiffeners (Stringers in the olde world) and my colleague and I knew it was not strong enough. Especially as the skin itself was only about 0.5″ or 0.75″ thick at the root.

Seeing that the 787 wing failed the static test, it will be delayed a very long time.

And, Air New Zealand are claiming that the fuel saving is 19% better than the 7% that APB promise. 6m litres forecast saving turned out to be 7.2m litres.
No wonder Airbus are putting the APB design on the Single Aisle.

    .

That seems to be the reason many people find it so offensive, and while I understand why people do find it so offensive (I’m not questioning their reasons or feelings), I can’t really understand why such minor crimes get so much attention. The tin probably had less than 20 quid in it; it’s hardly the biggest crime in the world to steal 20 quid when people are getting raped and murdered every day. I couldn’t agree more that the nerve of the people who stole it is incredible and shows massive disrespect to those who fight for their country (and especially those who lost their lives in doing so), but I just can’t get so wound up about something like this when there are people doing infinitely more disturbing and harmful things to each other.

    Paul

I cannot accept this as a minor offence.

Please get wound up. The petty crimes and disrespect are litterally the thin end of the wedge. If the perps think this is acceptable, it is easy to transfer that mindset to bigger things.
At my school, the local scumbag pinched brassware from the Church. The school bully kicked 7 colours of sh!t out of him for doing so. The head “Beak” caned the bully with the lightest/gentle whack you could imagine. The scumbag was never out of trouble and died of a drugs o/d aged 19. The school bully mended his ways and runs several dozen hairdressing salons and is rather rich.
