All conspiracies have a little bit of possibility, that’s the appeal.
Here’s one that came true….
At the time of the Iraq scuffle in 2003, many people said that the Iraqi forces collapsed too fast, even after a little bit of shock and awe. Rumours were that the Iraqi leaders had defected and that the crowd surrounding the statue pull-down were US based Iraqi’s or look-a-likes.
Whilst I totally support the Iraq tidy-up, it transpires that the Top Brass of Iraqi forces were indeed bunged.
The trouble is, that was the honour of the uniform.
The US didn’t expect (Despite being told by UK) all the scum to leach out of the ground with their IED’s.
Money, it has no flag and will usually win.
I also see Hendrix from a musicians point of view, and a sound engineers point of view. He doesn’t even come close to the list of people I consider to be genius! Just because what he did was different didn’t make it good either then or now. Whether you choose to like it, however, is entirely up to you. 🙂
You’ve only just noticed a bit of attitude creeping in to Shape of Old’s posts?! :diablo:
Paul
Ta PMN.
I used to know a man called Victor Brox (Heard of him? Whatever happened to him?). Anyway, he played with Hendrix as a session man. Victor was a genious, he also thought Hendrix was “mildly” talented.
As for “Pioneering” music in the 60’s, you can go down the Floyd route for that, or…if you study the note playing combo’s you can never dismiss the Beatles. As said, Hendrix made a lot of Spang noises, with a voice which sounded like a dying cat sliding down a blackboard.
Attitude? Me?
Well, if one sits on a fence about stuff, one does and says nowt IMO.

I was on M4 today and I joyfully slowed down to 50 in the inside lane so I could watch this stretched DC8 climb out. Beautiful, graceful………and a dirt trail, LoL!
…..I believe there is a Disc out there.
With Luggage possibly responsible for the T5 fiasco.

…it’s that Herald sun again isn’t it?
Self inflicted murder.
Hendrix murdered every song he tried to play or sing. Famous due to a couple of gigs in England (To an audience of frizzed out anti-war pinkos) and then died young. He was perhaps the only black guy playing rock at the time, so it was “Cool man” to say he was good.

Nasa web site has photos taken from an orbiter of the moon landing sites.
G.
I am NOT in the camp of the disbelievers, but those photo’s in the link actually show nothing.

Hmm, they are not attacking, they are protecting. Plenty of NatGeo stuff on the old Humbolt.
I guess the HeraldSun paper you have is a bit like our Daily Mail or Sun / Mirror. Aimed at the weakest link of society, pointlessly dim with no desire to be educated.

Snipers deployed to have fun killing whatever is killing the Pingu’s.
