It’s clearly been a weekend of oiliness, as we’ve had a couple of bonded seals fail in the nose bay. Here’s one of the blighters:
At least Lindy was fair and failed one each side of the nose u/c bay! The unions were removed and their faces cleaned up, then new bonded seals fitted. A testing to make sure of no leaks, then all was wire locked up and the resulting messiness of hyd oil on the bay walls, nosewheel covers and everywhere else was cleared. Rich also did a cracking job of cleaning the panel and lower anti-collision light after an older earlier leak was fettled
In the afternoon the retired airliner made a bit of noise.
