    My apologies, I assumed you were familiar with which of the two remaining live Victors lived where, and given the frequent references to Yorkshire and YAM on this thread, which was ours! Thanks Peter, it wasn’t quite perfect but I’ll explain tomorrow when I can do a proper update in work’s time 🙂

    I know our aircraft are loud, but you would struggle to hear Yorkshire Air Museum-based aircraft from Brunty! 😀 Scott look forward to seeing you again mate.

    the engine runs did go ahead- NM was blown over by his aircraft so he can vouch for that and I was in the Victor when it ran so I can vouch for that!

    Thanks chaps! Ben nope them’s all taken off my trusty phone would you believe! The wonders of Nokia N95… The pics of me in the Vulcan are on Ali’s camera, I’ll gather them off her today. Scott I’d be afraid of putting my foot through the floor of 319! :p I’ll add a few more tonight 🙂

    I’ve just been told it is all after lunch, the Rod will definitely be doing full engine runs assuming she’s serviceable, however we might only be doing wet/dry runs depending if there’s anything happening on the airfield. As sadly the airfield owners take offence to us blasting their clients as they enter the airfield! Still, better than nowt I’m sure you’ll agree! 😀 anyway be sure to come and say hello Ukaviator.

    Shan’t be drawn into the wind farm arguement again…! The plan is to engine run her and the ‘rod first sunday of every month. And do a couple of fast taxy runs this year too. Keep an eye on the update thread…
