I’m no petrol head as you know but I wouldn’t mind a peak at your MG if you have a photo to hand………:)

There’s one here http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showthread.php?t=98497&highlight=Elvington (if I’ve worked the link thingy right) from when I was at YAM with the ex. Keep meaning to put some on the Petrolhead thread at some point…

IIRC Sir Ivor Broom wrote a book (or one was written) about their exploits. I forget its title now.:o

    Blue skies Sir.

    NOOOOO! How dare you!
I have 2 small chromed-metal Union Jack badges dating from 1960-something permanently fitted to the front wings of the MG, and that’s it. My point was it seems the only time anyone shows any national pride and flies the flag is when a bunch of English overpaid whingers are taking to the field to play a game against the cream of other countries’ overpaid whingers…

We shan’t be using the impact driver, I hate the bl**dy things to be honest, just the appropriate flat bladed bit out of an impact driver kit, in an appropriate socket, on a breaker bar (Oh and a ration of Weetabix). After the magic fluid and de-painting that is! 🙂
We were only giving them the tap with the hammer and big driver to help persuade them to free off after so long- the one panel we got off some gentle hammer work and lots of WD40 got the fasteners working fine. Reminds me, must buy another can this week
Really, really don’t want to go the way of the drill 🙁

While I think about it, anybody got an idea where we can get new seals for the panels? We seem to have no new ones and the ones fitted are less than healthy…

Reading this has made me smile today! 😀

..and anybody else who’s life has been saved by skilful surgery.:)
It never ceases to amaze me just what they can do.

A squawking woman who couldn’t carry a tune in a tin bucket. Yet somehow appears to have become famous…

Apologies Kabir, but football really isn’t my thing, and I’m heartily sick and tired of all the hype surrounding the World Cup already, before a single overpaid pillock has even kicked a single bag of wind….

…well you did ask for comments and opinions! 🙂

But seriously, I hope you, and all those to whom football is important, really enjoy the event. Shame national pride doesn’t extend to allowing everyone and their dog to fly the flag more than once every four years…

Best thing you can do with your ‘fine southern UK beer’- can it and send it to Outer Mongolia! :p
Is anybody else sick and tired of hearing that World Cup song/anthem/noise yet?
