But the screwdriver/spanner dilemma assists with the tea drinking mission. There’s easily time for a brew while choosing your weapon, then when that fails (inevitably) you’ve an excuse for another brew while contemplating the hammer, which deep down inside you know you should have reached for in the first place… As to the southern problem, well, that’ll take far longer and many, many more brews to solve…

only in Mau Mau territory! In Yorkshire we’re a touch more sophisticated. As well as the choice hammer sizes and tape, we also have a screwdriver (to use as a chisel obviously) and a 1/2 in spanner as it undoes virtually anything on a BL car so you can at least look competent before you have to reach for the hammer…

    Scott,

had the quote for the repairs yesterday approx £4K – the fun starts in trying to get it paid by somebody other than myself. I will post a pic or two once sorted as the issue of unchocked aircraft is important to reinforce and failure to chock is bad airmanship especially on a blatently obvious slope.

    Owch! 🙁
    Best of luck…

Bob- To be honest I had a feeling you were going to say you were once a trucker. I just get fed up of the sweeping generalisations people make, about ‘all’ truckers. And yes, I happen to think she should be prosecuted, the number of near misses I see every day because car drivers joining just have to beat the truck it was bound to happen some time. But she certainly won’t do it again. Enjoy your bacon buttie!

is that to sit comfortably on whilst making more sweeping derogatory statements about the profession of several members of this forum?
