Doesn’t sound bad. As i write this (off my phone) i’m at the wetherspoons in berwick drinking dragon tail at 1.55 a pint. And very nice it is too… 🙂

Actually, thinking about it ‘most’ still there’s probably inaccurate. About half the front offices and 3/4 of the main warehouse are still there. The site has been well and truly pikeyed many times.

Ex gate guard, RAF Chivenor. Think it turned up early-mid 90’s. Most of the factory’s still there, just boarded up, offices torched, sort of half-derelict.

Ok the instant favourites list would include;

Black Sheep
Theakston’s (Especially Old Peculier)
Samuel Smith’s
John Smith’s (Cask, none of your smooth chemical crap)
Hobgoblin (Well anything from the Wychwood stable)
Pretty much anything from Ringwood Brewery
Joseph Holt’s do some nice stuff too.
And many other ‘proper’ ales

I’ve just never got on with Abbot, or Greene King for that matter.
