…and the state the shed roof, which I’ve been scrupulously turning a blind eye to for as long as possible! 🙁

sounds good to me for the jav, cheers. Just looking at them properly earlier- there’s some real rarities in there needing not very much tlc, so to a proper collector (with space!) think you’d be in the right ball park price-wise.

thanks hindenburg! Can’t imagine postage will be much, not like its heavy or owt. If you look to sell them as a job lot you’ll probably shift them ok, looked to be a couple of rarities that’d catch a collector’s eye. And most of them certainly don’t look beyond redemption…

Perhaps for ‘significant’ read most ‘recognised by Joe Public’ then… And I suspect the aircraft has spent more of its flying career wearing crosses than it ever spent wearing Spanish roundels.

I think it looks great anyway 😀

Seriously- can I please have the Javelin? Pretty please? Would love to add it to my collection.

I have a beautiful 1950’s socket set that lives in the back of my MG. Doesn’t get used though- that’s what the Halfords set’s for!

If the chap who owns the aircaft wishes it to be in these colours it’s nobody else’s place to crib him. After all, he’s putting up the money so the rest of us can see it fly…

The nice quiet Polish family next door having a birthday party, getting very pissed, and deciding to have a godawlmighty scrap outside last night. Police finally turfed up to sort it, woke the whole street and kept us awake for over an hour. Stepped outside this morning there’s Polish blood and snot everywhere, my MG had bloody paw marks on it and a Polski size 10 boot shaped dent in the rear wing I’ve just spent the last hour pushing back out. So I’m totally knackered, and the sympathy and sense of humour glands are well and truly empty today. 😡
