Looks like old vehicle Mecca- The Wolfrace wheels on that Zodiac are far shinier than the ones on my MG 😮

    Too late!

We all saw what you wrote originally….. :diablo:

And we laughed…Oh how we laughed! 😀

Even if councils do provide sites you still get them causing chaos by turning up where they please. Or biting the hand that feeds them- Bridlington provided them with a site with facilities, washrooms etc. They promptly ripped out anything that was weigh-in-able, flogged it to the scrappy, then said the site was uninhabitable due to the facilities not working (doh!) then went back to squatting on whatever chunk of land they fancied. 😡

I am not sure how an oil based compound ( diesel etc. ) will dissolve and or soften ferrous oxides?? Similar with acetone/oil based systems – unless the locked compound is a grease/oil in the threads that has polymerised/degraded into a solid.

Exactly sir- the stuff I use it on (mostly old MGB suspension parts) will hopefully have had some sort of grese on it’s threads 30-odd years previously. So when given some diesel and left to think about it for a while, the parts come from together with much less effort, swearing and skinned knuckles 🙂

Diesel sprayed on from one of them garden spray thingies works well. Spray it on the night before you’re undoing what you need to undo and you’re laughing.

Just been watching my mate trying to summon a peacock (don’t ask). With some success admittedly…

As what Clarkson would call a ‘Lorryist’, I fail to see how the Hell he hasn’t noticed that. Just looking out of my screen now (stopped, on a break before the wise-ass remarks start!) I just can’t see how he couldn’t see it. And as has been said, he’d feel the drag. Mind, it’s a DAF so he’d probably just assume the drop in power was because it was breaking down. Again.

…sure they’d hire them back in an emergency for a suitable fee :diablo:
