Peter , I collect tractors ( sad , I know ) and have a Ferguson TED20 in partial RAF rig . GeeDee and Kev 35 helped me out with some photos and stuff , I know that Kev Emailed me some excellent photos of an ex-RAF Fordson which is fully restored – I think it is at Duxford – I will try to find these , there is about a dozen detail photos which show the markings very well , if you need any help in finding parts just Email me at
ageorge@haemonetics.com
and I will help locate stuff , the Fordson is quite a popular vintage tractor over here and there is plenty spares backup .

Not sure but his attitude is “when in doubt there’s no substitute for total overkill”
Ah , a fine attitude to have , I generally go for the scorched earth policy when cleaning out rabbit warrens . Find all the bolt holes , fill up 3-4 of them by jamming bricks down them . The other holes you stuff with rags mixed in diesel , petrol and any other flammable liquid . You find the main entrance , open the valve on a 5kg propane tank and stick in the entrance hole valve first – to make sure this is in properly reverse one of the tractors rear wheels over it .
You then run round all of the previously prepared boltholes and light the rags . Within 5 mins you should feel a definate thumping noise , and one large thump . When youu are sure the propane is empty , drive the tractor away and recover the canister.
Remember you are actually doing the rabbits a favour – if it wasn’t for you they would struggle through a long , hard winter.

Land clearance with red diesel and burning tyres flung by pitchfork….ah, the memories.
Ahhhh , spray all the shrubbery with Sodium Chlorate ( NOT the fire suppressed stuff ) , wait 2 days then drag a burning lorry tyre round the field behind a tractor , ahhhhh love the smell of napalm in the morning . :dev2:
Iβm sure that the majority of people who read them donβt take in much of the detail, anyway.
I have read with interest the responses you have received on the βAviation Forumβ.
Yours sincerely,

I hope it’s ok if I ask your IP to pull at least the offending pages – routing through an SK Server , thanks.
