2 bottles of Highland Park , a Zippo and a gun , good day out !!!

Did you get the “stuff ” I sent you Daz , if you didn’t get it tonight then Post Office will probably throw it in tomorrow – DONT throw away the Jiffy Bag – I had the plans for the Turner T20 which has a nice canopy and I meant to put a copy inside the Jiffy , but I forgot so they are taped to the back in a separate envelope .
All in a huge Jiffy bag marked plainly “HARDCORE SPANKING ” 😀

Fancy fooling about with rockets. I thought you’d strap half a dozen to your latest tractor!:D

And before you suggest strapping them to my wheelchair I’ve already had a better suggestion. ‘Pinkie’ Stark, 609 Sqdn Typhoon pilot, suggested I should bolt a Napier Sabre to the front! And take up the option of four 20mm cannons of course. Come in handy round ASDA.

😀 😀 . Kev , have you thought about uprating your wheelchair !! , my Uncle Bob has one and I replace the Gel-cell batteries for him every year or so , on the small PCB below the joystick there is some small pots which you use to set the soft start speed , directional bias etc – neat stuff !! , some of the newer ones are programmable via a laptop , a certainty for making black marks all over the local ASDA lino 😀 😀

Bloody hell Primer , that sounds like a missile !! , I’ve tried one of these Estes rocket starter packs – good fun for a while , until the wadding gets stuck – the parachute doesn’t open , and that’s it – rocket gone . Can you buy these in bigger sizes – the only ones I can get in model shops here in Scotland are only about 1ft long , interesting hobby !!!

All I want for my kids and wife in the future is health and happiness , as long as my kids are happy I’m fine .
I used to work non-stop , overtime every day , working weekends , then one of my neighbours sons , Stuart Macintyre (aged 16) , died because some junkie scum sold him a bottle of Methadone . He managed to walk home , wish his mum goodnight and went to bed and he never woke up , I was the first person to see him after his mother tried to wake him – I was just getting into my car to go to work – and I heard his mother screaming , he was still breathing but I was told later that within 2 hours he was brain dead and all the effort in the world would not have saved him , that image is burned into the back of my mind and I think about him a lot , here was a 16 year old boy who was the usual scallywag 16 year old who was alive with a future in front of him one day – and was gone the next day ( he actually lived from the Tuesday until the Friday – then the switched off the ventilator etc) .

Number 1- My son beating cancer.

    Scott [/B][/QUOTE]

As a father I hope , like any other father , that my 2 lads will be healthy all their days . Cancer is one word I hope I will never hear near my kids – to hear of somebody beating it is a astounding . You can do what you want with your life , you can have all the money in the world , but you can’t buy your health.
My eldest son ( Jamie ) was named after Jamie Whitham who was leading the BSB with 4 races to go and was hit by Cancer – he beat it – and got back racing the next year , getting a bit sentimental here , sorry.

Anyone able to throw more light on the subject?

I’m sure Tony Agar managed to salvage some bits of Mosquito at Borehamwood , where Neilly ?? he’ll know. I can vaguely recall a magazine article years ago which covered Mossie remnants , there were bits at Borehamwood , bits in a Maltese scrapyard , a large chunk of wing at the end of a ( Welsh ?? ) runway , bits from a Mossie in Mexico ?? , anybody else with any clues ??
